Are the Shinigami teenagers at this stage?

The context is something like Mayuri reminding Akon of a task and he shouldn't leave until he finishes it (the truth is, I didn't think about it much).

In the first image, Akon is telling him, "Don't interfere in my life, you're not my father," and Izuru is thinking, "He's definitely his father."

In the second one, Mayuri says "yea, yea, but don't be late, son" a comment that would, of course, upset Akon.
