The International Skating Union is the international sport federation administering Ice Skating sports throughout the world.

The ISU has published the calendar of events for the 2023 - 2024 season.

The season will start with the Lake Placid Ice Dance International in Lake Placid, New York, USA from July 31 - August 2nd, and will end with the Hollins Trophy in Sydney, Australia from June 7 - 10.

Tracy and Brian talked about Yuzuru and Javier in CBC interview. How they look out for each other.

Tracy: Well it is, it is quite rare, but it's also sort of the new era of figure skating, as you see, Davis and White, Virtue and Moir training together and also with Yuzu and Javier. What has been wonderful to watch with them, is they are both inheritably such good, kind people. They look out for each other, and it's wonderful because they get the best of both worlds. You know, you watch Yuzu looking at Javier out of the corner of his eyes seeing him rotate that quad sal. And then you watch Javier, looking at Yuzu, with just doing jump after jump with all this energy. One is calm and relax, and the other one is sort of hyper. And so, they are wonderful combination together, and so far, it's worked really well and the two of them are inspiring each other.

- But it wouldn't work with every team.

Tracy: No no no, You got to a be nice guy.

- Sometimes you got to be rivals, sometimes you got to be friends. And here's what coach Orser had to say, following Grand Prix Japan about his two young skaters.

- Brian, you are here coaching two of the best skaters in the world. How is it for you on the day to day basis to see these two guys skating and competing every day?

Brian: I'm really lucky and fortunate that two guys really admire each other, they are very good friends. And they're kind of, they have a respect for each other's falents, and they're kind of feed off of that. So, it kind of makes my job a little bit easier, and they just work really well together.

(I really would be interested in what decision lead Boyang to TCC, because when it was first in discussion back in somewhere around late 2018, he didn't want to go to Canada even though the Chinese fed begged him to go, he declined. I am just curious, not judgemental. I hope he will have a good time at TCC)
