Some outgoing snail mail - wanted to try the packing tape postcard idea I saw floating around on pinterest. I think I maaaay have gone overboard and might try a laminating machine next time, but it was definitely a lot of fun making this weird piece of snail mail :)

I don't think people understand how awesome China's postcards and stamps are. From Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Taiwan

Yeah, I love the stamps as much as the cards, but for a different reason. The cards and messages make me happy, but the stamps make me think about being dropped off at the post office, flying across the ocean, what the sender was thinking when they picked the stamps, how hastily the postal workers stamped and shipped them off. This stamp came in from Russia today. Russia has some interesting stamps (I'll scan more soon), but China and Australia have the most interesting, colorful, unique stamps. They're my favorite :)
