SEBASTIAN: If I had to guess, I’d say your brother can’t act.
BLAINE: He's not TERRIBLE at it. He just makes a few questionable choices that I don't quite understand.

SEBASTIAN: If I had to guess, I’d say your brother can’t act.
BLAINE: He's not TERRIBLE at it. He just makes a few questionable choices that I don't quite understand.
match014 ✉ Blaine & Sebastian
SEBASTIAN: Was Nicholas Cage ever great?
BLAINE: He was according to Cooper's own personal master class of acting. Which is questionable at best.
wink message - quinn & blaine
QUINN: If you do your best as a teacher, that's all that you can do. There will always be some students who forget all about you, but for others you'll be the one who helped shape them into who they are now.
BLAINE: It sounds sort of egocentric when I see it typed out like that, but you're right. And I'd rather do my best to make a difference to a few of them than not try at all.
DAVLIN ⇄ BLAINE
DAVLIN: Dear Blaine. Not that I mind. But? Did we catch ourselves a permanent New Yorker? If so. Is it too early to request more cheesecake? Cause I'm pretty sure he's worth marrying just for his baking skills. Thank you, Davlin.
BLAINE: Not PERMANENT. Just - until he decides what he wants to do? Which I would very much like to include 'stays in San Francisco', but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
BLAINE: I'll see what I can do. You keep your matrimonial fantasies to yourself, though. I saw him first. 😒
TEXT Blaine ↔ Kurt
Kurt: Still crazy happy about all of this? I know I am.
Kurt: Any chance I can steal you for a date night Friday evening? I have an idea.
Blaine: Having you here, you mean? You have NO idea.
Blaine: You can steal me away anytime you want. Although my curiosity is definitely piqued now...
MATCHED 😉 Blaine ↔ Amanda
MANDY: Sounds like a good way to spend your summer.
MANDY: I'm hoping to line up a job so I can keep myself busy.
BLAINE: I like to think so. And I hope he does too! 😊
BLAINE: That's a pretty good goal, I think. Any prospects yet?
wink message - quinn & blaine
QUINN: I did. I'm actually still in contact with one of them and it's rather refreshing.
BLAINE: That's really encouraging. Half the time I'm convinced that none of my students will ever think twice about me once they move on to bigger and better things, but that's not really the point, I do realize.
chat: hunter + blaine.
HUNTER: I find that very surprising, but alas. Wow, that is quite the description. Thank you. I appreciate that.
HUNTER: I suppose I've been doing the same, as well. Well, for the most part. It does make the sex that much more satisfying.
HUNTER: That's one way to look at your situation. As long as you're not waiting months for an answer, that is.
BLAINE: You're welcome! I should probably blame Davlin's influence, but he might get a big head.
BLAINE: That's what I've always thought. I tried the casual, one-night-stand thing and it didn't really appeal to me very much, even if it suits other people just fine.
BLAINE: I'm hoping it won't be months, but it's sort of out of my hands. All I can do is be as supportive (and maybe a little convincing?) as possible.
match014 ✉ Blaine & Sebastian
SEBASTIAN: Oh. Sorry to hear about that.
SEBASTIAN: Sounds overrated.
BLAINE: It was a long time ago. I got out, at least.
BLAINE: That's what I said! Coop likes to try to convicne people he's the best thing since Nicholas Cage, though. Humility isn't one of his strengths.
wink 😉 blaine & gabriel
GABE: It's usually the best course of action.
GABE: It is, but I'm good for the job. Thanks, though! That's cool! You don't get tired of teaching over the week that you get more?
BLAINE: It's much better than blaming it on my twin, at least!
BLAINE: It's a different kind of teaching, one-on-one, so it keeps me on my toes. I'm not taking any new students on, though, since I have kind of a full plate this summer.
wink 😉 blaine & emmett
EMMETT: Ha, cool. I'd choose being on the app over getting back together with someone, but good for her, I guess.
EMMETT: Oh, heard of that one, it's supposed to be pretty good, isn't it? I'm a full time student. I'll probably get forced into getting a job this summer the way things are going, but for now I'm happy to just study.
BLAINE: They're still together, at least, and it's been... ten months? Wow, almost a year since I downloaded this app, time sure flies.
BLAINE: It is, but I'm understandably a little biased, ha. What are you studying, if you don't mind me asking?
match014 ✉ Blaine & Sebastian
SEBASTIAN: Oh, shit. What happened?
SEBASTIAN: This is very true. ;)
BLAINE: My first high school wasn't the best environment, to put it mildly. So - mid-year transfer it is!
BLAINE: See? Wait, I feel like I'm arguing Coop's case for him, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. He's okay, I guess, if you like blue eyes and stupid wavy hair, 😒
TEXT Blaine ↔ Kurt
Kurt: One more week and I'm California bound. This is your last chance to change your mind. :)
Kurt: Which you better not.
Blaine: Not a chance. I haven't seen you in WEEKS, I can't wait until you're actually here!
Blaine: ...Unless you're changing YOUR mind? I might cry, but you still could.
wink message - quinn & blaine
QUINN: I have a few that have helped me see things differently. It's nice whenever you can find someone who impacts your life.
BLAINE: Oh, I really hope you told them they made a difference for you. Sometimes just hearing it makes it all worth it.
MATCHED 😉 Blaine ↔ Amanda
MANDY: Do you have any exciting plans?
BLAINE: Nothing concrete just yet. Spending time with my - the guy I'm seeing, I suppose.
BLAINE: What about you, anything on your calendar yet?
wink 😉 blaine & emmett
EMMETT: She find someone interesting?
EMMETT: That does seem like the only job to combine both. You teach in a public school?
BLAINE: She got back together with her ex. I figured I'd already filled out the profile, may as well see what kind of matches I got anyway.
BLAINE: Private school, actually - Bennington Prep. I teach Kindergarten through 5th grade, so I'm usually working with younger kids. What about you, what do you do for a living?
wink 😉 blaine & gabriel
GABE: Algorithms these apps use can be tricky sometimes, I'd say maybe that's behind you being matched with some same people.
GABE: A new software release for the company I work at. I wouldn't want to bore you with the specifics, but it's one of the bigger ones I've done. Just happy to have a weekend when I'm not looking at a computer screen the whole time. Weekends do seem like the best time to relax and do whatever for a teacher.
BLAINE: I've had plenty of mutual matches think one of us was catfishing the other, so blaming it on the algorithm sounds good to me.
BLAINE: Oh wow, that sounds important. I hope it does well, in that case? I usually have private piano lessons scheduled over the weekend, but this weekend's been pretty light, it's a nice break.
