“In my eyes, we’re separate monsters.” Demons had only devoured souls for substance and never blood. “We merely take their souls but for you to live… You need blood, yes?”
Maybe he had been unaware of such demons since he wasn’t the type to go around associating with them.
“What brings you to London? If you are to drink blood carelessly, my young lord may be ordered to find you.”
“I..I see” She had been wrong all along. She sighed. “I travel, I am here passing through, usually I drink from blood packs, I can’t seem to find any around here” She replied.
She tried hard to be as human as she could, but she had to survive. “I was at my peak” she whispered as she looked at the unconscious female on the ground, she had to give herself credit, she hadn’t drained the woman.
sanguinwillow:
Now that she wasn’t freaking out anymore, she could see he wasn’t human by his aura, she could see he wasn’t vampire either. She tilted her head a bit. “What are you, you are not a vampire” she asked him, now very curious. She came closer and gasped, her hand flew over her nose, her eyes bled red and widened. His blood smelled so intoxicating. Like the finest wine.
“Oh, ..you..what are you?”
So she was a vampire. Sebastian always thought they were fictional but it seems he was wrong. They must have kept hidden well for him not to notice her kind. It seems he was affecting her in some way. Perhaps he should step away but he was drawn to see what would happen.
“I’m a demon.”
“A demon?” She asked, her eyes slightly narrowing. “Isn’t that was vampires are?” She tilted her head a bit, glancing at him. He was not a vampire, but she could tell he wasn’t human. She had thought Vampires were demons.
Was she wrong?
“It was .. good, I guess” she said shrugging. She sighed and stuck a strand of hair behind her ear, “I can’t believe I am.. not the only one, I struggle daily to be human, and ..I ..well, you do too, right?” She asked him.
She pulled out a thermos that had a straw sticking out of it, she sipped on it and started walking. “How..old are you, vampire age” she asked, curiously. “I was born in the 1700′s”
sanguinwillow:
She gasped as the voice rang out in the alley way, her finger instantly relaxed on the woman and she slumped to the ground. Willow’s crimson orbs filled with guilt. “Sorry, I apologize ..” she trailed off. This guy had caught her. She wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand. Her eyes slowly turned their usual deep dark brown, they often looked black.
She stared cautiously at the tall stranger and waited for him to run off or try and attack her. She hated fighting and even would as far as to say she hated what she was.
“You don’t need to worry about me telling anyone since I’m not human either.” Sebastian found no need to hide the fact he was not human from her. Usually other creatures would be relieved or more wary when told that, he wondered how she would react to him now. “And no need to apologize.” That woman didn’t matter to him.
Now that she wasn’t freaking out anymore, she could see he wasn’t human by his aura, she could see he wasn’t vampire either. She tilted her head a bit. “What are you, you are not a vampire” she asked him, now very curious. She came closer and gasped, her hand flew over her nose, her eyes bled red and widened. sanguinwillow:
Her breath hitched as he spoke. So it was true, he was a vampire, like her!
She stared at him agape at first..”I ..I can’t believe this, I thought I was the only one” She whispered loud enough for him to hear, but no one else. “I try to, be as human as I can, I try not to, feed off people, I am..I try to be normal” She hastened to explain.
Kao had moved now to meet her eyes, his expression of a mixture of shock and joy. He had never met another vampire like him, a vampire that clung to their human side. It was never heard of, but it seemed like there was one in front of him. Still, he was a little wary. There was still the fact that he’s never met another vampire like this. But then again…
“I-I thought I was the only one that tried to keep human. Usually once someone turns, they throw away their humanity, I-… This may not be the best place to talk.”
“You are right, I get off around 2 am, meet me out back”
When 2am came, she was off of work and standing out back, waiting for him. She couldn’t believe this, she had actually pinched herself to see if she had been dreaming.
sanguinwillow:
She spotted him sitting at the end of the bar, she handed a woman a drink, with a paced on smile and then looked back to him, her face blank. She still couldn’t really believe it. This had to be some sort of fluke. She sighed and made her way over to him, she pasted on a fake smile and spoke. “What can I get you?” She asked. She actually hated smiling. It hurt her face to keep doing it all day, but it was the rule.
She looked at him, still seeing that his aura was in fact that of a vampire. She must me dreaming. This was too unreal. How would she even go about knowing for sure? Without coming off as a loon?
Kao kept his eyes down, but he could feel the women walking towards him. Was she going to attack him? Tell him to leave? It wasn’t like he was going to cause any trouble, but he also wasn’t sure why he wanted to stay. Maybe he wanted to meet a vampire that was as human as him… or as close to it.
As she spoke he looked up, a little surprised by that smile. He could see the way her lips moved but her eyes were dark as she spoke. She was are wary as he was.
“What are you doing in a… human bar?”
He spoke quietly, just enough for her to hear, but not enough for anyone else.
Her breath hitched as he spoke. So it was true, he was a vampire, like her!

Sweet home Alabama started up in the juke box as she looked up slowly to see a few guys enter the bar, one however made her freeze. Her dark eyes grew large and round. no, it couldn’t be. She was the only one. Her hand stilled on the old rag she was wiping down the counter with.
She was so flabbergasted she could only stare like a deer caught in the headlights.
“I am not paying you to stand there like a dolt, get to work!” a gravely voice penetrated her stupor. She flinched and blinked a couple times, turning her attention back to what she had been doing, her eyes still glancing at him every few seconds.
In that moment, Kao wasn’t sure to turn and run or to stay and enjoy the rest of his night. It didn’t seem like the vampire was hostile, she was working in a human bar as opposed to one of the many hidden supernatural joints around the city. So that meant she probably avoid other vampires… like he did. There wasn’t many vampires out there that liked to avoid their own kind or hang around humans much. This had to be a special case.
For another second he stood there, but the door behind him began to open and he moved out of the way, his feet carrying him closer to the bar. He sat on the very end, a little aways from the vampire so she could decide whether to approach or not.

Willow sat behind the bar on the bar stool, it was a tuesday night,or rather, evening, the bar didn’t get very busy until late, unless it was the weekend. It was the only night job she could get, what with the sun being dangerous to her and all.
It was the only way to support herself in her miserable life. She had searched for so many years to find other like her when finally she had given up. She had to face it, she was the only vampire left in existance. She wiped down the bar top for the hundrenth time, her dark eyes, watching the door for any customers.

Finishing up his jobs for his landlord, Kao had decided to take a bit of a walk before heading home. He always enjoyed being around other people, it made him feel more human… it made him feel less like a monster. There wasn’t a lot of things he could do to forget he was a vampire, but listening to mundane problems almost made him feel better he didn’t have to deal with them anymore.
Still, he found himself walking down the street, passing people every now and eavesdropping on their conversations. It’s not like he had a lot of other things to do. One conversation in particular peaked his interest and he found himself subconsciously following the two men in front of him, even as they entered a bar and-
It was instant that Kao knew the female behind the bar was just like him, a vampire. It was like an aura around her, something he could feel vibrating off of her and reaching him, telling him they were the same. Expect Kao didn’t like to meet other vampires.

She continued walking around, she hungry, and not for food. This was bad. She didn’t know where any of the blood banks were here so she would have to drink from someone, but she would wipe their memory after. She spotted a young woman out for a stroll, she was by herself which was good.
She walked up to the lady and gave her her best smile, “Hello, mam, could you please help me with something” she asked the woman. The woman smiled and nodded, “Sure, what can I do for you?” she asked.
Willow looked around once more and seeing no one she looked back at the woman, “Feed me” she whispered and bit into her neck.
Sebastian made sure to conceal himself well when following after the strange girl. “She drinks blood.” He murmured as he watched the scene play out before him. This woman could be dangerous later on down the road, he thought. The reapers wouldn’t appreciate having more work to do if she continued to kill and they knew he was here so they could place the blame on him.
“Now, now… Where is your manners when you eat?” He jumped down from the building and landed a few feet away from her. “I won’t be telling anyone your little secret.”
She gasped as the voice rang out in the alley way, her finger instantly relaxed on the woman and she slumped to the ground. She would never play with magic again, never again. She surveyed the unfamiliar area, her dark eyes round with surprise. She walked around the empty street, her thigh length black hair flowing behind her. Where in the bloody hell was she? This place looked like England. Definitely not New York. “Well, Dorothy, you are not in Kansas anymore” She said aloud.
He turned his head and spotted a girl that looked out of place from everyone else. “How interesting.” He could not sense a soul inside of her and yet she’s moving around and speaking. “She doesn’t smell like a reaper and she’s not a demon.” He murmured.
She’s caught his attention now.
