The change of Louis’ character from the books/original movie to the current series has to be one of my favorite adaptation changes of all time.

Louis, at least in my opinion, was very two-dimensional in both the book and original film with Brad Pitt, and I truly think that Jacob Anderson’s protrayal of Louis De Pointe Du Lac is the best. This newer rendition of this character is my favorite.

Should they ever remake this series again in the future, I hope they choose to work with the same backstory/origin established for Louis in this current rendition.
