hello instagram artist. your challenge is to do a portrait study of a woman but you’re not allowed to stylize them so their eyes are really big and more cat eyed than the reference photo. You’re also not allowed to make their noses more of a button nose or their lips full and pouty or their faces heart shaped with no double chin. Also you have to draw a fat woman. one thats actually fat and not just slightly curvier than the kpop demon hunters body type. good luck

oh i KNOW we're gonna get some real juicy lesmand concert toxicity next ep, I've been frothing at the mouth for that scene ever since i saw it in the trailer, and depending on how it goes it might just launch me straight back into the lesmand trenches for the following week, who knows!

I'm also not worried about the show messing up their dynamic and if it does then whatever, there's always the books. but i rly doubt that's gonna happen.

oof, i'm probably the worst person to ask this cuz i've always tried to keep work art and personal art separate and that meant not monetizing the art i do in my free time as much as possible (even the patreon was an extreme measure for me because i got fired in january).

what's gotten me to the point i am now is becoming insane and horny about devil's minion in late 2024, which consequently prompted me to draw a lot of nsfw art for them and posting about it so others could scream along with me. and i guess if u do that for long enough and often enough, ppl will be willing to pay u to see more of it??? and, even tho it's not the case with me, even commission u to draw stuff for them!

but for all of that to happen, u have to rip the bandaid and start posting it, alas...

i do understand being scared tho, because sharing smtg u put hours and hours of work into with the rest of the world and not knowing how it's gonna be received is scary... but i think u should still go for it, because u never know whose day u're gonna make by posting ur art <3 and if someone's being a cunt in ur notes, kill (block) them.

hmm hmmmm let's see....

I think my favourite comments to receive are "i don't go here but", keysmashes and general screaming lmao, be it for porn or angst, but i love the screaming over angst in particular, because i get to make others suffer along with me >:3c

Least favourite comments have to be the ones that woobify or feminize armand to the point of farce (like calling him daniel's "mother" or referring to his fangs as "kitteny" when i don't draw them small at all, or calling his nose scrunch "cute" when the art doesn't convey any cuteness).

not perfect cuz i have to pay my own taxes, but at least i still get to draw for money, so overall I'm happy about it!

Will keep the patreon up for another month or so, depending on when i get my first pay from these peeps, then pause it the next 2 months after that, and if everything is still going well job-wise by then, I'll deactivate it and link all the free stuff that was there onto here ✨️

Unpopular opinion but if you don't enjoy the process you should find a different thing to do.

And I think this is true in general but now I'm talking about it in the context of AI.

If you don't enjoy making art and only care about the end piece and how it'll look and how much traction it"lol get online then making art is not something for you, find something you enjoy from start to finish.

Same goes for writing: if you do not enjoy writing and rewriting and then some more and instead want AI to write for you, being a writer is not something you should pursue.

Sure, not every part of creative process is going to be equally enjoyable but you should get satisfaction from solving the problems along the way and you should get a sense of accomplishment on your way of "making the piece yours" and you should have a sense of ownership once you are done.

None of these things will come from typing in a prompt into chatGPT. And I am sad to see so many people are missing on the opportunity to experience the joy of making something with their own hands and brains.

Just give it a try and if you don't like it don't do it again.

But also don't let the expectations of it coming out perfect ruin the fun you are having while making the thing. Because what if I told you this: having fun while creating is the actual purpose of the creative process, not whatever comes out of it.
