Vent about AI, nothing new here but sincerely the rise of AI has basically ruined AI!

I graduated in 2024, so I haven't used formatting AIs in a few years. You know the ones where you enter a book or a journal and they format it into different citation styles?

It's a simple thought, and it really saves time with the tedious parts of writing the end of the paper. I still wrote the paper, referenced and researched everything myself, just the citation generators.

I know word docs also has it but usually with links like mybib or citation machine, you could just enter the journal and they would find it and didn't have to do it manually.

Now when I opened it again to try, it's completely ruined, you can't find or format for shit because there're false ai articles with similar enough names to the real ones that you have to manually do it or the AI is so glitchy in trying to be generative instead of formatting.

I've somehow gone 7 steps back instead and now write my citations manually cause I can't trust any generator to do shit now.

Fuck off AI, Sora and more. I'll beat you with a shovel

In the honour of the new Superman, I'll share the take I've been holding in. I really really REALLY wish some of the superman comics would have a Clark illustration on the cover! I was rereading the superman comics from the golden age (I think they were the 1950s) one and Clark was so much more funnier, he was hyper respectful, drove a car 10 miles/hr to the because Lois casually mentioned the increase of accidents which led to Lois bantering sarcastically to Clark. He was so human in those, I understand the darker iterations of Superman that I often see in my nearby comic book stores but I hope that the new film will finally explain that we do want the mild mannered Clark cause that's what makes Superman interesting. "Superman is what I can do, Clark is who I am"

Anyway, TL;DR : HAVE MORE CLARK KENT ON COMIC COVERS!!!
