It was hard to keep from slipping even further into Overbearing Big Brother mode and ask if Goten had even checked to see if animals were allowed in his lease, but Mirai held back from that at least.

Goten nodded, a little bit sad he couldn’t keep them. Being on his own out in a new country had been hard, even with Mirai and Trunks around. Speaking of which, Goten, being as affectionate as he was, happily hugged Mirai’s arm as he walked with him.

Unfortunately for this nerd, Goten knew him too well. He put his body between Trunks and the door, folding his arms over his chest.

“I am.... frustrated.” Was that the right word? Well, it was going to have to be. Goten was usually an incredibly passive person, but much like his older brother, pushing him over the line meant business.
