What do you think Gift Ford's opinion of Blood Runs Thicker Than Water Ford is? (The Ford from my dark Ford Vampire fic)
I think Blood Ford's opinion on Gift Ford is very different depending on what point of his timeline he's from. Because Pre- "I'm immortal and Stan isn't" realization Blood Ford is a very different person than post-realization Ford.
Pre-realization probably likes Gift Ford. He approves of his strong drive to protect his baby brother and keep him close, most Fords seem to lack that. He personally doesn't see the appeal of world conquest (what other than Stanley would a Ford need?) but as long as it doesn't get between the Gift Stans he wouldn't see a problem with it. His only real problem might be that Ford relies a lot on Bill for his power and Bill could potentially pose a risk if they fight. He never met his Bill and built a friendship with him, so he's only looking at him though a "how can I use this guy to further my own goals" mindset. But again, it doesn't seem to be that big of an issue to him since Bill and Gift Ford seem to get along well. Overall he'd probably get along really well with Gift Ford.
Post-realization on the other hand...
I think Post realization is extremely jealous of Gift Ford. Because he quite literally has everything he ever wanted. He has the power to keep Gift Stan safe AND they're still the same age. Gift Ford doesn't have to keep secrets from his Stan. He never has to worry about Stan dying, and he's made the rest of his family immortal too to keep Stan from having to watch them all die. So Blood Ford would be extremely jealous, and would not handle that well. He'd definitely be rude and standoffish to Gift Ford, and I really can't see them ever being friends.
Gift Stan is horrified by what Blood Ford has done to his Stan. Gift Ford is like “what? There’s nothing wrong with him. This is a perfectly good Ford.”
Gift Ford thinks the hypnosis route is fascinating. (Also Blood Ford got to be a vampire? How cool!) He thinks it’s very reasonable for Blood Ford to do what he can to keep his Stan with him where he’s safe. Of course Stanley shouldn’t have to work or worry about anything, he’s the little brother.
Gift Ford would present all the benefits of world conquest. Mainly absolute control and power and the assurance that he can make the world what he wants it to be, and has every resource to keep Stan safe. There’s no need to keep secrets when you control everything :)
And Bill is a wonderful like-minded individual worth being friends with :) Sure they fight sometimes, but they always make up. Just agree to be besties and never betray each other and it’s all golden. The perks of having a Bill friend include a guy with vast knowledge and familiarity with the multiverse, so he’s helpful for troubleshoot and finding solutions to problems like immortality and aging :)
Gift Ford is as friendly to Blood Ford as Gift Ford gets with other Ford’s. He likes the guy and pre-realization would get along with him well too. Post-realization Gift Ford would be like >:( “this guy is so rude to me for no reason? I’ve never done anything to him.” And might get into arguments or cat fights with Blood Ford if Blood Ford insulted him. But Gift Ford isn’t a big fan of actually killing other Ford’s if he can avoid it, so he’d probably “this guy sucks” and leave.
He would’ve been interesting in having a like-minded Ford buddy but Blood Ford is too rude :(
