i can’t stop watching merlin’s face when arthur got mad he brought up gwen and told him “you ever say anything like that again and i swear you’ll join her in exile forever”. like he looks the tiniest bit hurt, sure, but also his eyes, his body language, he’s so emrys in that moment it makes me die. i’m not sure but i think that’s the most emrys he ever looked in arthur’s presence before. the power in his eyes and posture. the, just, pure power his entire body radiates with and you can see the restrain he’s applying to stop himself from saying something that will reveal his secret. i mean he doesn’t even cower away or even bends his shoulders or anything like he does when someone gets mad at/tries to attack him and he has to act timid to hide his true self. his hands are behind his back like any servant but the way he looks at arthur gives me chills. basically he looks 100% like someone who can and will blow arthur into shreds if he wanted

That’s a really, really good observation. His expression is very like the “I don’t NEED one” scene with the bandits. It also shows the kind of equal footing they’re on. As Arthur has risen to power, so has Merlin, and their confrontation shows it.

Also reminds me of his expression when mordred corners him in the hallway after Cara is captured. when he lifts his hand up and mordred immediately stops and moves back? He doesn’t even do anything or say anything threatening, mordred just instinctively moves back like he just remembered who he’s talking to. It’s amazing.

Do you ever fall in love with your favorite band all over again? Sometimes I forget how much the music means to me, and then at random times it will hit me and I’ll get the same feeling in my chest I felt years ago when I first heard them. It’s one of my favorite feelings in the entire world.

seriously, people who are being bitchy about this whole thing and calling it bullshit need to chill out. bands don’t exist just to constantly deliver music and content to fans and some people just can’t grasp that. bands are the members’ creative outlet and their satisfaction and well-being comes first. i don’t know why you would prefer something that’s half-assed and doesn’t mean anything to the band just so you don’t have to wait as long. leave them alone and have some patience.
