One thing Iāll never understand is that lesbians get shit for loving male artists (ex. āur not a lesbian if u adore a male singerā) when gay men have literally always been known for idolizing female artists and they never get the same treatment.
i think part of the reason why so many people cant conceive lesbians and bi women going from one identity to the other is because weāve come to see lesbians and bi women as two vastly different categories (especially because bi women are assumed to have one experience that sees the presence of men as an unquestioned default) when in fact many lesbians and bi women share the same exact material reality and that, despite the popularity of identity politics, is what like, actually matters

every time i see a wlw couple in public my heart turns to soft soft marshmallow. every. single. time.
canāt wait to uhhhhhā¦. wife?
Lesbian is such a beautiful word. Never let anyone tell you that you should identify with something lessĀ āforcefulā orĀ āexclusiveā. Take pride in who you are and how you choice to identify. We are beautiful, handsome, and all around stunning!
To my trans/nb lesbians, this post is, of course, for you as well. This community flourishes because you are in it, never let anyone tell you differently.
Something about seeing two girls or two guys just being in love in public is so therapeutic
TRANS GIRLS DO THIS
have a good day
literally anything: *has the initials āGFā*
me, crying: girl friend???? girled f riend,??? ?
normalising gay relationships and combatting the homophobia and violence gay people face for being in relationships is way more important than normalising straights being friends lol
I still laugh when they use the word gay in old Christmas songs
ella fitzgerald: make the Yuletide gay
me: donāt mind if I do!
Me, flopping down on my bed: *in a muffled voice* gender is hard and girls are pretty
Hey, I got a lil bored and decided to make some quick LGBT flower headers.

iām a butch trying to coordinate an outfit for a high school dance w a femme could you help?? or do u know anyone that knows abt that?
hey babe! im SO sorry about not answering this until now, but i hope i can still help!! simple things like matching colors can go a long way with outfit coordination, like you pairing the color of your tie, socks, or any accent to her dress/outfit. contrasting/complimentary colors work well for this too! if youre out and comfortable, maybe having the both of you wear an accent piece thats rainbow for an extra cute pride thing? or match jewelry! as a baby butch, i know looking Snazzy can be hard without spending a lot, so mens thrift store accessories are your friend (ties, watches, rings). and i always feel extra slick with a nice pair of dress shoes, even if the rest of my outfit is fairly plain. these are only a few ideas, overall just have fun with it and i hope all goes well!
