The sun softly tickled your face. Spring had just arrived, and the scent of newly bloomed flowers filled the room through the small crack of the window.
Lazy mornings were easy. Getting to enjoy the feeling of warmth against the still chilly air outside the covers. Relishing in the joy it brought to be tangled in each others limbs. Listening to the slow breathing of your significant other, your soulmate, your other puzzle piece.
His eyes were filled with devotion for you, something you could tell with only a glimpse at them. Something you knew he also saw reflected in your own orbs.
And with only a peek into his inner world, you knew he felt the same. About the early, lazy, spring mornings, and about the way you completed his heart and he completed yours.
In his embrace the hues of the world brightened, his mere presence transforming all there was to life, into love.
"Good morning, Yunho." your voice cracked at its lack of use.
"It's already 12 PM, honey... " he airy laughed, the reverberation causing you to shake, your whole body being laid on his chest.
Unable to refute his claim, but also too joyful to bring up a playful fight, you simply stared back at him with a content simle, a simle only his soul could bring to your face.
Unknowingly, it was the gesture that brought you to your victory, "... Good morning to you too, Y/N. " for he answered back to your comment with a tap at your nose. A small feat, for a small motion, for a small, intimate moment that once again you shared, in a lazy, peaceful morning curled up in bed.
You guessed you could make your morning last a bit more.
i just took a quick look at my other yunho fic and some in my drafts and i can safely say i have an obssesion over yunho and lazy playful mornings 🤡. im not complaining i think? its the best comfort for me but i guess i do need a new trope to exploit 😝

i know that "And July" it's still ongoing and quite unfinished, while i just went and vanished into thin air, but the thing is my life has been a bit of a mess for the last months. a lot of changes and responsibilities have made me unable to post anything here, but i want you all to know that i'm not dead or anything 🤡 and that im incredibly grateful for all of your support to my works.
the important notice i wanted to share, is that i do not plan on giving up on mingi's smau, and i have all of the story written, so there are going to be more updates, even if it's no soon from now.
and the other notice, is that i have been working on my biggest project, and the one im most proud of, a series of 8 stories developed in a classical world, and if everything works out fine, i will be posting the summary of jongho's story soon.
