I was looking at the latest preview vid and I think I realized something about Bea.

………….Like who goes barefoot in a fighting arena stadium unless…………….

I think she’s blind. 

it’s not like the pokemon franchize has had characters with strange looking eyes before (see Hapu from gen7) but seeing as she’s the only one to enter the stadium barefoot and having a similar hairstyle makes me think they are going for this specific archetype.  or bea is secretly an earthbender
