What the Heck is Doo Dah? The Annual Doo Dah Parade, which is a cultural legacy of the Columbus, Ohio - Short North Arts District, known for its diversity and passion of art. Vibrant people march and express their unique humorous thoughts about social, political, civic or other issues. Nothing or no one is safe from satire!  The Doo Dah Parade is funded by charitable donations from our Doo Dah’s Friends & Lovers, along with the sale of coveted Doo Dah T-shirts. No other major U.S. city has a 4th of July parade quite like the Doo Dah Parade. The Doo Dah parade is FREE to march in or to watch and no registration is required! The day is complete with FREE entry to the Block Party with FREE live music 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Buttles Avenue (Between High & Park Streets)A few rules: No Blatant Advertising, No Full Nudity, All Politicians Must Wear a Funny Hat!The 30th Annual Doo Dah Parade will once again celebrate liberty & lunacy on the July 4th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Line-Up @ Noon. (Rain Date July 3rd)The Doo Dah Parade is produced in-kind by The Friends of Doo Dah. The Friends of Doo Dah is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charity, based solely on volunteers.

To honor the members of the military and the sacrifices made to serve our country, the Zoo is offering free Zoo admission and discounted Zoombezi Bay admission to all who are serving and have served our great nation, including their immediate family, July 1 through July 7. Military personnel should show their military ID and veterans must show proof of service for free entry to the Zoo.  Immediate family is defined as active or non-active military personnel, their spouse and any kids living in the household.

Zoo Price of Admission: Free Zoo admission to any active or retired military personnel and their immediate family

Zoombezi Bay Price of Admission:  $22.99 (per person) for active or retired military personnel and their immediate family

Parking is $8 per car.

Information: Concerts start around noon daily. Listen to music on six stages. Take part in Spirit & Purpose Workshops and speakers, solar displays and kids activities, and shop at 200 craft and community vendors, and 30 food vendors.

Home games for the clippers this week are Sunday June 23 at 6Pm and Monday June 24 at noon.  Tickets can be purchased in advanced online or at the gate on game day.
