Merry Jesus’ birthday.

adam-sterling:
“Sarah, hey—- how’ve you been?” Adam grinned widely, clearly happy to see her—- even if he’d been a bit slow to recognize her; that went for just about everyone these days though, so that wasn’t new. He chuckled at her question, realizing it had been way too long since they last caught up. “She’s mine. I’ll be her own personal manny until she’s 18, and then I’m out,” he joked.
“I have been great.” She mused with a chuckle. When was the last time she’s talked to Adam? The red head couldn’t recall. Nevertheless, she was happy to see him, even though he’s a with a kid now. “Yours? Oh wow.” Her brow raised, she tried to show enthusiasm but nothing came out. She didn’t like kids -- not at all. “You told me you wanted to a kid but I didn’t think that would be this quick. I am just.. shocked. Who is the mother? Toni or someone else?”
emilymartinelli:
Uncaring and disgraced with the talent of tact, Emily couldn’t keep the bitter quip from flying off her tongue. “I hate what Christmas reminds me of. Can I burn this tree or is that too much?”
“I think that would be a little too much. You might get arrested.” Sarah said with a shrug. “But you know, if you don’t mind spending your night in the police station, go ahead and burn it.”
logan-rigby:
“Well… I don’t have one on hand,” he explained, more somber than what one would expect of him. He wasn’t usually this naive to falling for what should’ve been an obvious trap. “If I had one, it’s probably on someone else’s phone. I’m not like you, you know. I keep evidence out of reach.” He teased, though he was entirely serious about the offer. “But also, this is probably my time to go viral, too. I don’t know, I’d probably put peanut butter on my dick before I get head from someone, whatever.”
Sarah could feel like, she was about to burst into a laughter, so she pursed her lips together. “Peanut butter?” Her brow raised. “How about you fuck a peach and I record it?” Now that just sounded like they were going to make a sex tape. She wasn’t sure if he was teasing or not, although he sounded pretty serious.”Let’s record something PG13. I don’t wanna direct your sex tape.”
songhaejin:
“My mom use to tell me that while I was young, I’d be excited for my birthday because I was young and when I got older, I’d start to resent it…but I don’t know man, I’m hardly feeling festive. All I can think now is I’m old.”
“Oh come on,” She started with a shrug. “Age is just a number. I have met forty year olds who lived their lives as if they were in twenties.”
adam-sterling:
“Is this seat taken?” Adam asked, dumping the diaper bag on the floor next to the only remaining empty seat in the coffee shop. “—I won’t stay long, I promise, I just gotta sit for a moment while she’s actually asleep…” He nodded towards the stroller on his right, Mia fast asleep inside, but who knew for how long.
“Adam?” Sarah knitted her brows in surprise, chuckling. Her gaze shifted to the stroller, her brow raised. No way she thought to herself. “Is that your kid or did you start working as manny?”
logan-rigby:
While normally not giving much regard to how people may perceive his words or actions, he was somehow moved to feel remorse for his wrongdoings. Perhaps it had something to do with the person he’d done it to—he knew better than to cross one Sarah Bluth—or because he considered the relationship he had with his own family, one which, had it not been for their support, he wouldn’t have achieved most, if not all, of what he’d reached so far. And so it was with a heavy sigh that he offered the redhead an alternative in such a gullible assumption, “An eye for an eye, then, yeah? I’ll let you post a shameful video of me. I won’t mind.” He would, in fact, mind, but he had to admit that he’d also sort of love the attention.
God she was this close to burst into laughter and tell him the truth but the need of teasing him further was also present too. “That could work.” Sarah pressed her lips together as if she was upset, but she was trying not to laugh. “What kind of shameful video are we talking about here?” Her voice stayed monotonous, her brow raised. “Can I see it now?”
Poppy was just getting used to Lanford. It wasn’t as big as Manhattan, by any extent, but she had lived in Manhattan for 10 years. She could find anything if she needed to. But now she was somewhere unfamiliar, and her phone was dead. She had gotten off the train, only to pull out her phone and realize the battery was drained, probably because of how cold it had been. She could find her way home, but…..she really needed food, first. “’Scuse me?” she said, reaching out to tap a person walking by her out front of the train station on the upper arm. “Is there somewhere good to eat in this area?”
“Yeah?” Sarah looked over her shoulder once someone approached her. Was she someone she’s recently met? Or was she a stranger? Her questions have been answered by the next question the other woman asked, she was either a tourist -- but why would anyone visit Lanford? Then she must have been a new resident. “There are few good places, depends on your taste though. Just make sure don’t go to that Chinese place in North End.”
“Seriously?” Emily spoke, indignant, to no one in particular. She stood at the entrance to the shop, staring at the Christmas tree like it was an abomination. “It’s January. They’ve started putting hot cross buns out in the stores. Get with the program.”
Sarah turned to the brunette after hearing her words, her brows quirked, “Oh boy, you really hate Christmas, don’t you?”
frankienotfrances:
She wasn’t paying attention to where she was walking. It was something that her mother had always chastised her for, which, of course, meant that Frankie had made little effort to rectify it. Instead, Frankie continued with her nose practically smushed against her phone screen as she scrolled through her extensive library of music, trying to find a song that was fitting with her mood. Her search was interrupted when she collided with something solid, making her stumble back.
“Shit, fuck! Sorry.” Her gaze landed on the stranger’s shoes, beside which something had dropped. Frankie ducked down to pick it up, quickly holding it out when her gaze once more met her inadvertent victim’s. “Here,” she said with an embarrassed grin, “sorry about that, man.”
“Great, that’s just great.” The red head groaned after the person who’d just collided with her. Of course the person didn’t even bother to apologize, which made Sarah furious. For a split second she thought about going after them but she was already in a rush, so she didn’t want to waste her time on an asshole.
A stranger approached her for help, which was surprising because most people in New York usually wouldn’t give a shit. “Thank you.” Sarah said as picking the pages from the woman, “At least someone is sorry about it.” With an angry tone, she knelt down to pick the other pages.
cloudgrayson:
With a single stick between scuffed fingertips, his lips (lacquered with the taste of what he so often desired the most: rum) opened to show a hint of pallid teeth. “Lighter?” The question (or, as it would appear, a professed word with little indication he wasn’t idly muttering two syllables) was met with the arch of his brow gestured towards the opposing archway occupant. “You got a lighter?”
“What?” Sarah took off her earphones and turned to the stranger. Once he’d repeated his question, she nodded, “Oh shit, I am sorry I don’t have any. Do you see the blonde guy?” She paused to point the other blonde guy who was standing in the corner. “I bet he has.”
jude-nolan:
“Yes, I love her,” Jude said wearily, rolling his eyes in irritation, “of course I love her, I’ll always love her, I mean christ, I got this, don’t I?” he said, using the team’s boot-up page to tug his neckline down to reveal the tattooed I.L.W. initials on his collarbone, before returning his eyes to the screen. “It was weird though. I kind of felt like a stalker. She works at Podium now and I ran into her. Waited until she got off her shift, took her to eat, then dropped her off home. I mean, it sounds like a normal human interaction when I put it that way, but there was a lot of staring. A lot of staring. Weird silences, and then some more staring.” He chuckled. “Still, not quite the disaster it could’ve been.”
Sarah let out a chuckle as he showed his tattoo, nodding her head. “I can only imagine -- was it awkward? And trust me, that’s not stalkery at all. Was she happy to see you?” There Sarah was, asking bunch of questions. “True. Not gonna lie I was ready to hear a disastrous story but I am glad it went good.”
sodaniels:
“Oh my God, I meant it like, in case you two get drunk - don’t let it slip. He’s a tricky guy okay, you never know.” Sophie murmured, rolling her shoulders before actually shifting her position to face Sarah. “Okay, saying that I will ever stop having feelings for him is.. a lie. But I’m no longer going to act on them. Does that make any sense? I just want to have fun because as sad as it sounds I am not going to expect anything more. I’m done living in that fantasy, so I wonder if I just tell him that whatever happens is just.. us messing around. Nothing more. Or should I just not think about saying anything and keep enjoying life until something else comes my way?”
“I won’t, don’t worry about it.” Sarah squeezed Sophie’s arm to reassure her. “Yeah I know it’s a lie.” She nodded her head. Sarah might have sounded a little bit too blunt but eh, it’s what it’s. “Yes it does. That’s a great plan in the theory but it can also get really messy, you know? Because you can’t help it, in time you might want more -- which is understandable. You are playing a dangerous game.” She shrugged. “If you are gonna able to give up on what you guys have when something else comes your way, then yeah, you can keep going.”
logan-rigby:
Either she was a fantastic actress or he really had just gone further than he’d intended to go, but he could certainly feel some oncoming guilt as she spoke about her family. He knew how important familiar relationships could be, and regardless of whether or not she was joking, he hated the thought of possibly ruining her standing within her family. “Well… I’m sorry,” he said, softer in tone now that he was wary in upsetting her further. “I… I could talk to them for you? Explain the whole thing. I’ll tell them it was just a sick joke on my part. We’ll pretend I’m good at editing and that the whole thing was just Photoshopped or… whatever.”
“Being sorry doesn’t make any difference though.” Sarah tried her hardest to maintain a sad, disappointed face while she was dying to scream from laughter. Logan’s words sounded genuine --- hell even sad. Good, that’s what she intended. “They wouldn’t believe it.” She shifted her gaze to somewhere now, pouting her lips as if she was about to cry.
adritimothy:
“Head splitting migranes.” Adri said with a shake of her head as she was reminded of the various hangovers that have kept her in bed all day. “I would have to say close to four or five.”
“Ouch.” Sarah almost winced, wrinkling her nose. Headaches was the worst, yet alone have them regularly. She couldn’t imagine. “That’s a nice amount. I am the same, then again it depends on the day.”
jude-nolan:
He looked over at her like he wanted to bite her head off, but of course there was a crack of a smile underneath it, because how could Jude even attempt to glare at Sarah. Only when she forgot to inform him about his deliveries and then his burrito went cold. “Or maybe alcohol makes you ramble a bunch of things you don’t even mean, because your brain’s On/Off spout has been broken, hmm. Just connecting words, phrases, names, feelings, with no real meaning to any of it.”
“I am sure that’s always the case.” Sarah scoffed her friend, a chuckle followed her words -- she didn’t mean to pressure him. “If it wasn’t the woman you used to be married, then yeah I would be like sure he was just rambling because he’s drunk or whatever.” She explained. “She’s love of life -- I bet you feel weird about her return. Or feel something about it at least.”
