This one probably changed the least from the first version to the second, but because of all the details I added on the second go-round it definitely took the longest to redo!

Thank you for a wonderful response to my show!  I love that I finally get to share these paintings with you, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has taken time to look at them.  The show will be up for the next four days, so to keep the momentum going, I wanted to give you a little look at the progression to the finished product.  I did the first set of these paintings over the summer, and I ended up being so unhappy with them that I redid each one.  They came out MUCH better the second time around, and the redo was worth every moment of panic when I thought I wasn't going to meet my deadline.

Hey, tumblr.  Hope everyone is doing alright.  Weird time to be posting, but my show is going up in a week, and I wanted to give you a little taste of what the paintings are going to look like, so here’s a little teaser of the first painting for you.   I know it’s hard, but remember to be patient and try to take care of yourselves.

Would it be stupid to take questions via phone calls during my art show livestream?  For some reason that just sounds so fun to me??  I’d be like a radio show host. “And now we’ll take some calls!” Then again, I would have to give my phone number out to a lot of people, and that doesn’t sound so fun.
