Honestly, I can’t really judge them. I was the same way back in school whenever I’d show up that is. Remembering all the fun they had on winter break always seems like the better alternative than going back to school, no offense.

None taken, I know school isn’t everyone’s favorite thing in the world. I mean, aside from cheerleading, it wasn’t even really my favorite.

I hope my kid isn’t chatting anyone’s ear off about what she got, I know she can go on and on once she gets going. It probably doesn’t help that she adores her teacher, so that probably means the kids you have adore you.

She probably is but it’d be okay because if her teacher is anything like me then they probably enjoy hearing her be so happy. Thank you, I definitely hope they adore me, I try my best to be a fun teacher.

That sounds like hell, but as long as you enjoy it, that’s what matters. That might get… tough though. Depending on the kids. Like, one… not all kids celebrate Christmas. For example, I didn’t growing up. Still don’t. Bragging might make other kids feel bad…

I totally enjoy it, I’ve wanted to be a teacher forever. Oh absolutely, I’m pretty into my Jewishness so I get that, another teacher and I just ended up deciding to let our classes have a free day and bring whatever they wanted to play with and share.

I always admire those that actually have the patience to teach small children. I’ve never been the type. One of the traits Kate Kane and I have in common - lack of patience. How many times have you heard ‘GUESS WHAT I GOT FROM SANTA’ in the last two days?

Honestly they’re really great, a lot of them are just super hyper which is only sometimes a problem. Only about a million. Thinking about just letting them do a show and tell on Friday so they can brag about their gifts to their hearts content.

First week of school after break is always bittersweet. I love the kids and I love how enthusiastic they are to tell me all about their winter break but then that’s all they want to do.
