Healthy bladder, my ass. You know how many pit stops we’re making because you can’t keep a bottle of water in you for more than 45 minutes? If anything, I’m taking one for the team, can’t have both of rushing into gas station bathrooms.

How old is your sister? Are you guys close? My sister and I are super close and the hardest part about taking the leap here was missing her. Don’t get me wrong I get her out here as much as possible but she’s pretty hardcore into school.
She’s 25, we were never that close but after my mom died after I got older, we started talking more. Yeah, it’s the same with me, but she loves it back in New York, thinks any other place in the U.S. is hell.

No one in LA can make a cup of coffee. It’s why I started making my own at home. That, and using a reusable cup, and a french press, is way better for the earth than constantly buying paper cups with plastic lids.
That I can definitely agree on. I’d have to look into that french press, but I’m usually strapped for time on my way to work which is why I’ve just started settling for mediocre coffee.
There is not a lot better than actually getting to spend a Saturday night in. Got to Facetime with my little sister and relax with a bottle of wine and Amazon Prime. Please tell me everyone else is having a glorious Saturday.
Funny, I actually Facetimed my little sister as well, except I was watching Netflix and it was whiskey instead. I wouldn’t say my night’s gone as great as yours, but, I’ve had worse.

You’d think that after living here for 7 years, I would’ve found a place that could get my coffee order right, but apparently, that isn’t the case. I guess I must still be impartial to New York, but damn, I didn’t think it was that hard to make a black coffee.
First week of school after break is always bittersweet. I love the kids and I love how enthusiastic they are to tell me all about their winter break but then that’s all they want to do.
Honestly, I can’t really judge them. I was the same way back in school whenever I’d show up that is. Remembering all the fun they had on winter break always seems like the better alternative than going back to school, no offense.
