Happy birthday!

Loving the Indie Line up this year! Such a great weekend for only 100 quids! I knew I shouldn't have left my tent there last year! #sickbuyingtents!
Wow!! Its been a while! I'm Back! Involved in a new adventure, evolving interests and a new sense of inspiration to share! Don't worry all of the usual rants will no doubt still occur!
Above is the new adventure as mentioned! Just starting using a Facebook store! :-)
I want to go! Anyone want to take a short trip to LA?
MAC Casual Colour Collection
The MAC Casual Colour Collection is quite an exciting release from the brand this Summer as it not only brings us a brand new product from MAC - Cheek Colour Pots, but also something we can really make use as it is supposed to be the Summer! Who would have known?
I'm in love already! Definate purchases!
Kardashian Sisters Announce Beauty Line
Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have just announced the launch Khroma Beauty. The cosmetics line will include eyelashes, mascaras and Kardazzle Compacts, with a larger range of products available from early 2013. Because their dominance of the entire E! Network isn’t enough, the Kardashians are managing to get their hands in every possible business venture out there. While I understand that this “K” thing is their media gimmick, it’s becoming quite annoying. They are heading into overkill.
They states that the makeup line will offer a variety of products that any girl can buy and use to achieve that Kardashian look. Khroma Beauty will consist of “unique signature items” like dual finishing powders, face illuminators, and a treatment mask.

Loving this seasons collection by Victoria B! Love her, love these!
Festival Season!
As it is nearly that time of the year again (Woohoo) I thought it would be appropriate to discuss some of the more important items to pack going to festivals. Keep in mind, this is my list, others maybe a little bit more sensible! Here is my checklist when packing for this years festivals!
Money – This might sound like an obvious option but the queues for the ATMs is a huge waste of time in my eyes so bring the cash, keep it safe, go get a drink and find some mischief!
Raincoat – This is completely ones own option, I have always brought one but can never bring myself to actually wearing it. Cringe! Last Resort!
Wipes and Moisturiser – You feel bad enough after a small amount of uncomfortable drunken sleep than to wake up and layer the make up over the day befores! Especially if your fond of face painting!! Get wipes, moisturise = New Woman!
Tent – One tip, pop up are so easy to set up but not the bee all! Wind goes through them and you may be left with a puddle in the middle of your 2x2 living area for the weekend. Grab a decent tent, grab a few fellas and bribe them with a few cans to set up your tent – problem solved!
Torch - Night-time toilet trips made much easier. Watch out for tent ropes! Phone lights aren’t ideal.
Toilet Roll – Day 3, this will come in handy!
Enough clothes for three days - Wet clothes aren't nice. In one word: chaffing. For a 3 day festival, bring about 5 outfits. Shorts, wellies, dresses, hoodie, long socks etc. Bring all weather clothing. Remember, you will go through all emotions – Excitement, being tired, hungover, and cold – usually in that order so you know what you need to get back on form!
Drink – Bring enough drink for your time in the campsite, usually a few hours a day. It is expensive to drink in the main festival all day long so try and even it out with your own. Don’t try and pack a wheelie suitcase with heavy booze as when you get on grass, it won’t wheel. Quite annoying! Try get a trolley of some sort!
Sunglasses – For the first hour or two every day, these are essential! You wake up, walk out of your tent and your looking at hot boys! Not cool! It’s hard enough to get up for work every morning and going straight out in public even being a little bit tired!
This doesn’t even cover half of the essentials but it’s a start! The festival body on the other hand is a whole different issue! Countdown is on ….
Preventing Wrinkles without the high Beauty Budget
Every day women become more and more conscious of their skin. Like many of our mothers constantly remind us, it is important that we do so at a young age to prevent wrinkles. However, skincare doesn’t always mean you have to spend hundreds every month on top quality beauty products. In fact, many of the things you can do to take care of your skin require no money—just a little dedication and will power!
Watch out for the Sun
Yes, we all love a glowing tan, but if excessive tanning is going to translate into wrinkles and sunspots, no thanks. Now, this doesn’t mean you can’t ever be in the sun; all it means is that you should be a little more attentive when it comes to your skin. Most foundations and moisturisers contain an SPF so make sure you use one of these daily.
Sleep on Your Back
Getting enough sleep is one trick to looking young; however, you should also try to sleep on your back, as it will help you prevent wrinkles that can form from sleeping on your stomach and side. This may be a little more difficult to achieve, especially if like me you really love your sleep and can’t relax until you’re in a comfortable position. Of course, the more you try to sleep on your back, the easier it will be.
Keep Hydrated
Drink a lot of water. Keeping hydrated will show in your skin, offering a natural glow that can only be achieved through good health. Drinking 8 to 12 glasses of water a day is recommended. This also will improve your health by washing the toxins out of your body. Even though running to the toilet at least 15 times a day is annoying, it is worth it when you see the diferrence in your skin hydration.
Eat Healthy
Steer clear from greasy, unhealthy foods. Having a poor diet will surely show in your face. Try eating raw vegetables as often as you can. Stop going out to eat every day and hit Tesco/ Dunners instead. I am never very organised when it becomes to food unless I make a list and a plan to go. I heard a good trick recently, when you come home from the supermarket, Wash and peel your veg straight away and put in fridge, this means that they are ready to eat as of from then. Thats defiantely my way of doing things, rather than having loads of gone off veg at the end of the week.
Take Vitamins
If you haven’t been taking daily supplements, you need to get on it. Vitamins A and C are great for your skin, especially if you want to lessen the visibility of wrinkles. Buy a multivitamin also, leave it on your desk in work and you will always remember to take them.
Stop Smoking
Smoking limits your blood vessels, which means your skin isn’t receiving enough nutrients or oxygen. If you want to maintain healthy looking skin for the long term, now is the time to think about giving up. Take one step at a time by cutting down. Here we go: Day one! Wish me luck!
UGG Bridal Boots
I know some people prefer comfort over style but Is this an absolute joke? Would anyone actually wear these on their wedding day?
Eight Hangover Cures
We’ve all been there; you wake up the morning after the night before with a serious headache and serious regrets about that last bottle of wine or the last shot of jager. For many people, like myself the best way to get rid of the dreaded hangover is to sleep it off and spend the rest of the day in bed. However, there are many other options open to you if you’re brave enough to give them a try. We all regret wasting that day in bed especially when the weather has been picking up like it has this week!
Bangstyle have compiled a list of the world’s weirdest and wackiest hangover cures, and trust me, some are definitely worse than the hangover itself. Try if you are brave!
Sour Pickle Juice
This is one you’ll probably be able to find in your cupboards or fridge. Basically, all you need to do is drink the pickle juice from a jar of pickled vegetables or fish – and your hangover will be gone within the hour. It originates from the idea that the nutrients in the juice go a long way toward repairing liver damage, and the fluid itself re-hydrates your body. Eeeekk!!
Homemade Oyster
This isn’t one for the faint-hearted but could be a quick fix for those who have the stomach for it. To make a Prairie Oyster, you’ll need to mix together the following: tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and raw egg. Then, all you need to do is down it. You’ll want to do it fast – because the taste and the smell don’t have much going for them.
Armpit Lemons
Apparently, by slicing up lemons and putting them under your armpits, you can also rid yourself of a hangover. Why? Who knows - but this is one of the easier options.
Buffalo Milk
Before you skip onto the next suggestion – wait! This isn’t actually made up of real buffalo milk. It is actually a highly alcoholic cocktail of ice-cream, dark rum, liqueur, double cream, and spiced rum. It claims to numb the drinker’s senses so he/ she can no longer feel the hangover; however, we’re pretty sure this just means it prolongs the inevitable! Sound fun though!
Rabbit Dropping Tea
Rabbit dropping tea is something which (although rarely drunk anymore) does promise to send your hangover packing in the other direction. The eye-watering concoction is, rather simply, just rabbit droppings stewed in boiling water – so not exactly difficult to make up (in fact, a simple trip to the nearest field will get you all that you need). Of course, preparing the tea isn’t the hard part. Do you have the stomach for it, especially with a hangover?
Vindaloo Pork
This suggestion is only for the bravest of people. The idea behind this cure is that by overwhelming your body with another sensation (spice), your hangover will become the least of your worries. It does actually make a lot of sense – it just seems like a risky idea; stomachs are always a little sensitive the morning after the night before, and a huge dose of spice could be a recipe for disaster.
Dried Bulls Penis
This method for curing a hangover is pretty simple. Just head to your local grocery store, buy a dried bull’s penis – and eat it. Of course, this is providing your local Tesco sells dried bull’s penis – which they probably don’t. And if they did, would you eat it? That’s what I thought. Shall we proceed to the next suggestion then?
Have you got it in you to test any of the above?
Liz Earle Make up Launch
As such a massive fan of this brand, hearing the introduction of a make up line was music to my ears! The excitement has been inbearable! And its out! How great does it look. Reviews look great! I will keep you posted as soon as I hunt it down!
CJG Shoe Launch
This week seen the launch of Chloe Greens collection of shoes for Topshop. Long awaited arrival of the green sole - Well, its actually Mint!
Chloe happily admits that the coloured sole nods to her love of Louboutin heels – the celebrity cobbler’s shoes famously feature a red sole.
Unlike Christian Louboutin, Chloe’s designs will come with a more purse-friendly high street price tag – capped at £175 in Topshop stores and Online.
Festivals are coming!
