Things I have learned throughout Multimedia Communications:

1. I learned that you must make a folder for your website. This is key for organization and getting a website started through dreamweaver.

2. I learned that LinkIn can be very useful for finding jobs and getting connected with different people within your work community. 

3. The different layers in photoshop are useful for focusing on one point of the project. It makes the organization of the piece your working on easier. 

4. I learned that video interviews are more like formal conversations and when done correctly shouldn't always just be Question then Answer format. 

-For my Final Project I am going to make a Powerpoint explaining why Multimedia is important and how it used in various professions. I plan on using different visual aspects to it and making it interesting and pleasing to look at.

1. Adobe Dreamweaver is a software program designed for web pages. it supports many different languages like English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Russian, and more.

2. Websites are so important in todays society because in some ways they act like adds for businesses. A website makes businesses easily traceable for the general public searching over the internet.

3. Knowing the elements and principles of design is necessary for Web Design because people want their websites to be interesting to look at. Understanding elements like color and balance are important to making a successful website. Being aware of what and where you want emphasis can make or break how long someone looks at the different options of the website.

4. For my Final Project, I am thinking of making a Powerpoint that is very descriptive and pleasing to the eye. I want the Powerpoint to be more explanatory pictures, rather than long bullet points.

1. I have learned to make titles directly on my video using the Essential Graphics panel in Adobe Premiere Pro. I also learned how to add effects, using the effects control panel.

2. One similarity Adobe Premiere had to Adobe Audition is that they both have media panels. 

3. I have learned that it takes a lot of time and concentration to use the software. I also learned that making sure the video is in the write format and length is an important part of the transferring process.

Camera angles can influence the mood of a scene. For example, high angles often give a mood of weakness, vulnerability, and being smaller. Low angles create a sense of being larger-than-life, confidence, and importance. When the camera is at an eye-level angle, the viewers are supposed to relate to the subject on a more personal level. 

For project #4 I am hopefully going to Interview Margaret Mcgovern at Art Therapy of Hamden. I also may potentially interview my older cousin or her friend who both work with energy and art helaing.

1. I have learned about pod casts, and different platforms you can find podcasts. While trying to find someone to interview i learned that people often don’t respond as quick as you would think, and many peoples schedules are to filled for interviews. 

2. I have reached out to multiple people in the Art Therapy field. Including  Margaret McGovern (<[email protected]>) and Heather Bushey from Art Therapy & Creative Counseling (<[email protected]>). I also reached out to my friends Julie and Serena who both attend the University of New Haven.

A/ Using the system of speaking and hearing to transmit information

2. Q/ What is a Podcast?

A/ A podcast can be made by anyone wanting to share and communicate with the world. Usually a digital audio file that is downloaded onto the internet. 

3. Q/ What is Adobe Audition?

A/ Adobe Audition is a digital audio editing program that is often used to produce music, radio broadcasting, or audio for videos.

LinkedIn is essentially an online resume. It is almost like a professional Facebook. There are many reasons why it could be beneficial. The biggest reason would be that it is a reliable and easily accessible resume and can be updated at any time. Sending a URL can sometimes be more simple than printing out a resume. The second reason is that employers can view your profile and contact you.

Layers in photoshop is helpful for many reasons. The biggest reason being that it makes it easier to focus on a particular thing on the screen. It also makes it easy to delete objects that are unwanted. I also like the layout of the layers section, the list makes it easy to see what you have, especially when there is lots of text.

5 Favorite Photoshop Tools

1. Crop Tool- It is a quick, easy way to focus an image or get unwanted objects out of an image.

2. Blur Tool-Useful for when trying to focus on one thing, it can add cool affects if used correctly. 

3. Hand Tool- Makes it easy to move the screen to focus on a certain part of picture.

4. Gradient Tool- I think gradients are very pleasing to look at and this tool does it without a long process. 

5. Brush Tools- I like this tool because there are different brush options and it can be interesting to use on certain pictures.
