Donna Tartt ― The Secret History
Gosh, it feels like its been ages since I have posted anything on here but there’s some things I’d like to share. For starters, I graduated and got my bachelor’s in psychology last year and my minor in history. For those of you who don’t know, history has always been my passion but I decided against pursuing it because my family didn’t approve and I was more concerned with money prospects (probably shouldn’t have picked psychology either in that regard lol). However, as my graduation date approached and all finals were being submitted, I started hating myself for picking psychology over my true passion which is history. Grad school acceptances started rolling in and I couldn’t bring myself to accept any offers. Picturing my life in a field I didn’t actually want to be in made me miserable. So, like any rational person would do, I moved from CA, the only state I’ve ever lived in, to a completely different state of KY and found the will to pursue my real dreams. I’m doing the thing again. But I’m doing it right this time and I’ll be getting my ba in history. Here’s to following your dreams!
"hello love, my invincible friend"
every time you hold me tenderly
i want to burst into tears
to make up for the years
i spent being so lonely
alone in my misery like in my glory
alone in my discovery
of everything around and within me
- me.

One of the best coffee places I’ve ever been to.
Hi! How can i be as amazing and aesthetic at studying as you are? Teach me your ways!
Awww, I really appreciate that. Honestly, I learned from here on Tumblr. I didn't do it so much because of the aesthetic however, I did it because I needed the motivation to study. Taking nice notes and making everything look pretty and organized is what helped me find motivation to study. You just need to find what works for you :)
