One last final left and oh my god I hate computational chemistry so much 😭 No offence to anyone but this stuff is just so mind numbingly boring I can barely focus on studying it. Experimental chemistry ftw ❤️‍🩹

I'm seeing my thesis supervisor tomorrow with the final version of my poster, and then I'm most likely going to have it printed! It makes me kind of nervous to think about it bc what if it looks good on my laptop screen but not irl 😅 I mean, we're talking A0 here, that thing will be the size of a blanket lol every imperfection will show!

i've largely had a productive week! some days i randomly get really exhausted and have to nap for hours to recover, though. i also feel a bit lost in my group meetings, like i am not making as much progress as people in my research group. i have a year but i hope i submit a really strong phd proposal. i'm struggling to find grounding with my pet project at the moment.

Been up since 6am studying. Completed all the tasks I had to upload for my writing class, and am now studying for my linguistics exam that is this afternoon. Honestly? I’m not sure if I will pass. If I fail again, I might just call it a day and settle on switching my major, as I then wouldn’t have to retake the exam a third (&last) time. Really hoping that that won’t be the case though…
