@saran-saran
hello my fellow dead tumblr blogger
Testing to see if this platform is dead.

what made you start drawing and how was your journey till here? liked it, hated it, both? what keeps you going ahead after all these years? and for last what inspired you to keep going on the hard times.
I drew quite a bit in my youth, I always wanted to be able to draw well and deeply admired (even to a point of intense jealousy) those who could. After I entered high school, my circle of friends shrank dramatically. I became withdrawn and abandoned any form of self expression in order to not attract any unnecessary attention from my peers. I picked drawing back up in college, out of curiosity of exploring a childhood dream, get good enough to share my abilities with people online to make them happy, possibly make it a career if college didn’t work out, and so that I could draw diddies and azz of my favorite characters. That was about 8 years ago, 6 years ago I made this blog ,and the reasons previously listed have carried me through that time.
Learning to illustrate has been one of the most difficult things I’ve done voluntarily, and it was suffering. Lots of long, lonely nights practicing how to draw ellipses and straight lines by hand, memorizing and putting into practice the fundamentals of art, and hating my art and myself for not being better. I HATED learning to draw, drawing and it not matching my expectations was a constant reminder that I’m not everything that I could be, it’s a devastatingly humbling experience (and that feeling still persists to this day, but in a more mild form); But, I’m thankful that I’ve suffered through it.
What keeps me going is seeing the progress I’ve made, the friends that I wouldn’t have made if I hadn’t made the sacrifices to draw in the first place, and the people who enjoy and share my art.
Thank you for your questions.

It was a good ride.
I also would like to thank each and every one of you for giving me your attention over the years. Special thanks to those who have stuck with me ever since mlpg and have tolerated my shitty art back when I first started on here. You all play a massive role in my hunger to learn and develop as an artist. Seriously, you’re fucking rad.
Take care everybody.
