Best Direction of a Musical — Michael Arden, Parade
they wouldn’t let me say faggot in the barbie selfie generator but the point still stands
anyways why did his speech actually make me cry
“So, maybe I’m a prophet. Not me, alone, all of us, the ones who’re dying now. Maybe the virus is the prophecy? Be still. Maybe the world has driven God from Heaven. Because I do believe that, over and over, I’ve seen the end of things. And having seen, I’m going blind, as prophets do. Right? It makes a certain sense to me.”

Very simple. You pick stuff, I'll take that and give you a Shakespeare play that matches the vibes you give off from your answers.
Can you recongise real Shakespeare quotes?
Two quizes I made.

people who watch musicals and bitch about how it doesn’t make sense that the characters randomly burst into song are so funny to me. babe it’s literally a musical like this is the standard of the genre what did you expect
THAT'S THE WHOLE PROBLEM WITH THE GENRE AS A WHOLE, THAT'S THE POINT
i’m sorry you’re allergic to fun i’m sure that makes life very difficult for you
Oscar Award winner Ariana DeBose used to understudy the Leading Player in the 2013 Broadway revival of Pippin. Here we have an audio recording of her and Erik Altemus (understudy Pippin) singing On the Right Track (circa August 2014).

i can’t take any fics/posts that use lyrics from the Broadway version of Epic III seriously bc they’re trying to make me feel so devastated and insane over the lyrics but these are the lyrics:
and like,,, okay they’re decent lyrics but i’ve heard the off-Broadway live version where that verse sounds like THIS:
girlie im sorry but im gonna have a hard time feeling emotions over a finger painting that i know you picked over the mona lisa lmao
[Two images of the lyrics of Epic III, comparing the off-broadway version to the broadway
The broadway version has these lyrics, “But he fell in love with a beautiful lady
Who walked up above
In her mother’s green field
He fell in love with Persephone
Who was gathering flowers in the light of the sun
And I know how it was because
He was like me
A man in love with a woman”
The offbroadway has these lyrics, “And Hades is king of the scythe and the sword
He covers the world in the color of rust
He scrapes the sky and scars the earth
And he comes down heavy and hard on us
But even that hardest of hearts unhardened
Suddenly, when he saw her there
Persephone in her mother’s garden
Sun on her shoulders, wind in her hair
The smell of the flowers she held in her hand
And the pollen that fell from her fingertips
And suddenly Hades was only a man
With a taste of nectar upon his lips, singing:”]
L+ratio+thy bones are marrowless+thy blood is cold+thou hast no speculation in those eyes
I’m not over it and everyone needs to know about this.
At the end of the show, the lights are supposed to go out on everyone. But Saturday night, they left the light on just Amber for a few extra seconds. It was such a moving visual with the candle too. Amber started laughing before the light went out completely. Thankfully, Cherie B. Tay was able to catch these stunning photos of this beautiful moment.
what about blorbhov from my complicated russian novel though
