My honest opinion about new ep. 5/6

Miss the pilot. Miss the adequacy.

God, I'm so pissed that Charlie just doesn't give a flying fuck about Alastor. And I'm not even saying this as a #charlastor shipper, like "boo hoo, my otp aren't making out in every scene, shitty writing." NO, I just don't understand Charlie's actions at all.

Well, Char...

You see your FRIEND, your PARTNER and CO-OWNER of your fucking hotel get CAPTURED by the same people who just wrecked your hotel's plans and your reputation five minutes ago. You try to say something, they kick you out, and then you just do... what? Fuck all?

She seriously ran off to appeal to Emily (which, yeah, important, I get it) and just said "FUCK IT" to everything else?

She remembered for, like, two seconds that Alastor was captured and that he's probably, oh I don't know, BEING TORTURED and going through some truly fucked-up shit, and then... THAT'S IT? "I'm sure he's fine" and... WE'RE DONE? SO YOU JUST DON'T CARE?

I've seen people trying to justify this with "plot" and Charlie's "bigger picture" tactics, but that's just bullshit.
