idk man i just don’t wanna fucking do this anymore
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see? Alice in Wonderland (1951) dir. Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson, Hamilton Luske

You’re it for me.
Do you know that?
Did I ever tell you that …
Nobody else compares?
Nobody else really matters?
That these quiet nights and days - these moments we’ve made will be ours and only ours?
From the second we met to the last breath we’ll take before we die …
You’re it for me.
There’s only you.
We produce enough food to feed 10 billion people, however at this time about 780 million people starve annually. The worlds richest man is worth 151 billion dollars and is only one of over 2000 billionaires, whilst more than 3 billion people live in extreme poverty. In the UK and the US there are more empty homes than homeless people and that doesn’t even include non-residential properties.
We easily have more than enough to meet the needs of every human and enough wealth to provide all with basic infrastructure. There aren’t “too many people” and there isn’t “not enough to go around” the problem isn’t how much we have but how we distribute it.
yall better be just as outraged about this as you were about notre dame
This is even WORSE.
To elaborate why this is worse: Art and religion are all well and good. But information can be critical. When libraries burn, information can be lost forever. Because we photograph art. We have blueprints of the Cathedral. The Notre Dame cathedral did not burn to the ground, only the wooden structures did. The entire library and everything within is gone here. Another reason this is worse? It was DELIBERATE. It was bombed. Accidents like Notre Dame happen all the time. But bombings don’t have to happen. So yeah, if you cared about Notre Dame, logically you should care about this too,
Jesus fucking Christ
