reclining on the leather couch, matty threw a well-worn and scuffed baseball up in the air with his left hand, catching it in his right. “i’m at a point,” he muttered, and whether he was talking to himself ( as was known to happen ) or someone else, was up for debate. “where i’m going to start shoving bamboo splinters up my fingernails to start feeling things again. maybe that’ll give me some damn muse.”

staring at the male in front of her, natalia waited for him to finish his rambling before pretty much surprising him. “i think you should hook up with a fucked up person to see if that’ll give you some inspo -- or getting drunk and writing emotional nonsense proves to be a great hit most of the time.” after a brief pause, she chuckled. “at least it has worked for me.”

“i hate interviews. the nerve of reporters and interviewers today never ceases to baffle and enrage me. not only is the question of whether i “spit or swallow” is in every way inappropriate and insanely disrespectful, but it’s none your fucking business.” gianna straightened up, rolling her eyes slightly. “i swear, i hate the promotional bullshit. people who like my music will by my music. i don’t have to do a ridiculous “seventy questions with buzzfeed” or sit across from some rolling stone music snob who couldn’t make it in the industry themselves to get exposure.”

“i’m not sure if you knew - but there’s his thing your manager usually does for you, a sheet of questions you don’t want to be asked, very khloe kardashian style. have you tried it?” natalia asked, raising her eyebrow. “besides, those interviews are meant to keep things ‘interesting’ -- you can always refuse, it’s not a crime to be rude.”

“i have to say, as much as i love touring. i can’t help but keep planning my very much needed disney trip. oh, and you know what’s exciting? i finally have enough money in the bank to finally stay in one of those ritzy ass disney hotels. mickey mouse, here i come.”

“i personally enjoy disney movies -- but the whole disneyland park and hotels is too much for me. why would i wanna be inside a mickey themed everything? that’s just too much for me - besides, the parks arent even THAT fun, for me at least.”

niko was probing at the combination of metal and string etched across his eyebrow like a battle scar before turning to the person behind him, slumping his shoulders. “freaking wall shelves, man. they really need to make those higher so i don’t keep running into them and busting my eyebrow open. be honest with me … if you saw me on the street and noticed this on my eye, do you think it would make me look tough or like a klutz?”

natalia stared at the boy for a few minutes, until a soft laugh escaped her lips. “haven’t i always told you to look up, niko?” she asked, scrunching up her nose. “speaking from a knowing place, i know you’re very clumsy so i’ll say you just look like a total klutz -- but that’s me being biased, babe.” tilting her head to the side, she offered him a smile. “however, i’ll say you look very tough to make you feel better.”
