Currently reading A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara

I honestly find this book quite enjoyable. I’m currently at pg 174, the part where Jude and Willem find out that JB used showed off pictures of Jude without his consent or knowledge … HE DOESNT EVEN APOLOGIZE WHEN HE’S CAUGHT... like all Jude wants is a damn apology and he just keeps piling on excuses. What sucks is how Williem basically tells him to be realistic and that Jude should know JB won’t apologize(I acknowledge Williem is on Jude’s side though). He’s such an asshole that everyone in the group just expects him of it and is much more lenient towards him??? Correct me if I am mistaken, but during Malcom’s POV don’t we literally see how JB basically just outright denies Malcom’s blackness despite Malcom being mixed??? What?? And his friends let him get away with it?? Plus, isn’t Malcom closest to JB/his best friend?? HUH??? Although Malcom’s probably only close to JB because Williem and Jude are their own duo. JB is so insufferable and entitled. Does his character get better?
