trauma tells you being happy is wrong. your body rejects it because it’s unfamiliar, it’s something you have felt out of touch with for a long time. so just know that this is where the self-sabotage begins but that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to be happy. it’ll just take time to get used to it again, to fully enjoy it and remind yourself you don’t deserve to put yourself through painful situations.

This is a general question for you and ppl w asd who see this. Did anybody not understand the reasoning for why people did what they did? And learned about people from reading, watching shows and movies ALOT.

I struggle a lot too when it comes to trying to figure out why people did what they did but I’ve learnt quite a bit from experiences irl.
For me watching shows nd movies only makes me more confused when trying to compare them to in real events, because shows and movies are of course scripted. I can understand how people actually do learn from them but for me it’s not really helpful.
