May I ask, como le haces para aprender tantos idiomas ? (:
Hi there! Sorry if it took me too long to answer, but this account is actually just to keep the resources I tagged, I don’t really use it. So, little update, I no longer study german nor italian because I’m doing my Erasmus now, so I dropped out the courses.
I think I could do it because I wasn’t at the same level with the four languages. I’m more fluent in english (even if i’m forgetting it due to living in France, it’s more or less natural to me), then french, italian and lastly german. Once I knew and understood some of the french grammar, it was way easier to learn italian, which I barely needed to actively study. German was a nightmare, because i didn’t really have time for it and my teacher was awful (just 2/25 students did past the exam), but the best way for me was writing everything down and doing diagrams.
Okay, this is a very long answer post, but I wanted to finish saying that everyone learns their way. Everybody has to find what is better for them. Also, I don’t really think that learning four languages at the same time was good for me. I was stressed and didn’t get done as much as I know I can do.
Not really back
Hi! I’m receiving a few cute messages lately (sorry for not answering right away) and I’m getting many followers but I must say that I'm not really in Tumblr anymore. I keep the blog just in case I need any of the links or apps or advices I found here but nothing more.
I’m not really in any social media anymore. I'm in instagram, twitter and pinterest but if I post anything is in spanish so I don’t know if you are interested. The only one I’m really active is twitter anyway. I’m also in goodreads if you want to be friends! I go by Nerdferatum or Saru in there.
I’m sorry but I’m really busy with college and I need good grades to apply for the Erasmus.
Hello, I was wondering if you had any tips for starting a studyblr? I really want to, but I just don't know where to start... thanks!
Hi! Well the first thing I did was to make sure that people could see why i was in studyblr. What was I majoring in? Where I was from? Why I joined the studyblr community? And then I repeated the info in a tiny post explaining a little bit about myself. I also offered help to people who was studying spanish.
I also recommend you to be clear and orginized with your tags so you can have easy access to the info. Look some blogs to follow. There are many that look pretty but other than that aren’t a great help.
Talk to people!! Even if you feel weird about it, everyone is happy to make friends or at least to talk to someone who has the same interests. Post about your classes, about your life, about what makes you happy.
But the best advice i could give you is to learn from the people you follow. It will help you to feel more confortable with your blog and your posts.
I hope I helped!
Helloooo, I’ve been trying to learn Italian for years but I just don’t know where to start and how to buckle down. Can you please help??
Hi! I’m sorry if you waited too much for my answer, I’m not really active in tumblr anymore.
I learned italian in some extra curricular classes so I’m not sure about studying on your own. Maybe you could contact some native speaker who could give you some lessons. I’m from Spain and many Erasmus students do things like this to earn some money or in exchange of language lessons. You can help them with your language and they can help ypu with theirs.
I’m sure there’s also plenty of web pages where you could find grammatical explanations. In my experience, it is easier if you understand the grammar first and then you learn vocabulary on your own.
Although it is true that reading is helpful to learn, when you are starting it’s really frustrating, so i wouldn’t recommend that until later. Italians have pretty funny films tho, I think it’s better to start with commedy than any other genre.
You also have Quizlet. It was really useful for me and has a web page and an app.
I hope I helped you!
omg another exhausting day of doing the bare minimum

i finally finished setting up my workspace in my new apartment and honestly??? i’m completely in love
I have been LOVING amsterdam so far 🦆
Helloooo 😄 do you like Italian?
Hi! Yes, I like it very much
It smells and sounds like spring
Not to romanticize on main but there is really something healing about sitting in front of an open window listening to birds and wind chimes and enjoying a natural breeze. It’s like the world is telling you breath
Sometimes I’m overwhelmed with the insatiable desire to learn. To know astronomy and geography and language and architecture; to recognize each constellation, planet, and star; to speak and understand all languages, be able to decipher ancient Greek and Latin text; to grow my understanding of how the human body works; study the differences and similarities of each religion; recognize the use for each herb and seed and sapling.
I want to better myself, not for fame or recognition or power. I just want to understand.
be so completely yourself that everyone else feels safe to be themselves too
✨ mornings spent journaling ✨
Being a part of the studyblr community makes me want to study hard, be healthy and be the kind of person who looks like they know what they are doing while I keep scrolling in my pyjamas at 1 p.m
I’m feeling a little ambitious this year. Since the beginning of the year, I’ve been picking up big books to read. I’m hoping to read Dune next once I’m finished with The Secret History which I am enjoying a lot by the way. SO GOOD
