My Nuka Ghoul, the scientist Ludwig Untermann who was commissioned from Germany to aid in the development of Nuka-Cola Quantum as fuel for weapons. When the bombs fell, Ludwig was in the processing facility and fell into vats of the stuff, transforming him over time into what he is now. The man's body is somewhat unstable and any intense heat can cause limb loss via explosions from his body. Fortunately, the quantum affords him an incredible healing factor and allows for rapid regeneration of all body parts save for his head. He has, at times, removed his own hand to use as a grenade if the situation called for it. Ludwig now spends his time at the plant still researching and trying to understand what happened to him, but he does, at times, venture out into the world in search of more quantum bottles and wigs which he hoards almost religiously. He is willing to trade caps or anything valuable for such items and has gained a small reputation for even trading powerful weapons for a simple, well kept wig or a crate of quantum cola.

Meet yet another Fallout OC of mine. Thiago or A4-24 A courser who broke from the Institute and adopted the fashion he'd seen in old movie reels and magazines. He likes to think of himself as a desperado of sorts who works closely with the Railroad.

The Institute decided to see what they could develop for their Courser line if they stopped trying to make them blend in effectively with humanity and as a result came up with the prototype Z9-99. Synthetics were heavily integrated for strength and longevity alongside numerous weapons within its body. Only one of them was developed before the Institute's ultimate destruction via the Brotherhood of Steel. One of my Courser OCs who has no real clue what he is doing. He'd been online for only two weeks before the destruction of the Institute and is now having to fend for himself somehow.

A New Vegas OC of mine, Ethan Lin! Former NCR Ranger turned merc. His family defected from China pre-Great War. He's in his 50s~

An attempt to take a look at what Joshua Graham might look like with his burns under the bandages. I assumed he still had his nose and ears, given that we can see their shape beneath the wraps. We know he still has his eyebrows as well, so I assumed he'd still have some hair, but not all of it. Anyway, I quite like how the burn scars came out!

Duality is one of the things that makes Messmer such a complex, deep, and fascinating character. The feared demigod driven by righteous wrath, burning cities to ash to avenge his goddess mother’s people...and the broken being hidden beneath, a scorned son consumed by sorrow and by the serpent he carries within.

There is so much meaning in Messmer's character, not only in his past but in the motivations behind his actions. Anger, self-hatred, and the suppression of the part of himself that is perceived as wrong are probably the most evident of all. But if I had to choose the theme that I think feels the most powerful, I would say it is acceptance.

Acceptance of his nature when he shatters his eye-seal and releases the Abyssal Serpent. Acceptance of his own doom, and of the fact that his mother truly abandoned him when he realizes the end is near.

Pain and tragedy is what haunted Messmer through his whole life, nothing and no one could change that, but I like to think that through acceptance he found, at last, some measure of peace before death.

(Spoilers for a 30-year-old video game incoming:) Kefka's a fun one. He's got the air of a goofy saturday morning cartoon villain, the kind that never feels threatening because you know that the heroes will stop him before anything bad happens. Right up until they don't. I knew full well he would end up being the final boss long before I even started playing but the poisoning of Doma still caught me off guard lmao

He is also super fun to draw! Ended up drawing more of these than intended, haha
