Our 3 instructors. The curly-headed one is even a professional surfer. I had so many "Wipe Outs" but I had more fun than I have had in a long time. Surfing made me realize I am REALLY out of shape. Like, forreal, I'm seriously out of shape. But I have SO much more respect for surfing now. And I most definitely will be doing it again. (at Playa Tamarindo Costa Rica)

So I'm walking through the parking lot, thinking about an encounter earlier today with a butterfly that scared the 💩 out me. I guess it sensed imminent danger and flew at my face to avoid it. I kid you not. But as I walking through that hot tar parking lot I saw this fellow just laying there limp, barely moving and in the line of traffic. That's when the softy in me kicked in, I picked him up and brought him to my yard so that he could live- or kick the bucket-- somewhere other than a parking lot. And folks say Chicago folks are heartless. OSFF: I literally drove to the crib with him cradled in my hand like this, and he cooperated.
