So I feel like my major issue with is6 up until I got Wang was that I found it boring tbh

I would beat the first and second floor easily while doing wonderland (cause like being real you’re almost forced to go in there on every floor like what’s the point of the other paths even) but only non fight nodes

But then floor 3 had high chances of just killing me

Now that I have Wang however I just go for the fights even on the first floor wonderland if I want, so I’m much more prepared. The start isn’t as boring and I don’t waste my time by doing this all to die on the 3rd floor

Im not sure if this is good game design but oh well the experience is better at least

So I finally got around to play the other bosses in IS6 lmao

I’ve beaten that dragon feet with struggle cause big dps checks in short amounts of time aren’t my forte

Then I beat Wang on my first try… I didn’t even learn his mechanics besides he puts pieces around, which isn’t a sign of a good boss for me. I feel like the hp loss per second did more harm to me than the boss itself

I wanna get to the Chongyue fight that’s what is motivating me lmao

the poem literally starts with "so this guy we are going to talk about is Not a good person and he brought unimaginable suffering to countless people in a meaningless war" and the people are surprised when the suffering he brought IN A WAR includes rape. because women famously aren't raped in war. i am sorry, i love achilles, he is one of the most interesting characters of ancient literature to me, but it is a very important part of the narrative that he is cruel, ego-driven, rageful and violent, and it's THE THING that makes iliad interesting. like genuinely, if you're not interested in ancient reflections on what the realities of warfare are, what are you even reading it for
