This follows along with canon of 699, what I headcanon of Sasuke and his mindset. Technically, it is the canon of the anime, as Sasuke's jail time is not manga canon- but I hope you can see why I consider it pretty canon compliant based on Sasuke's headspace of that time in his life.

That must have been fucking crazy to experience when you first woke up

oh lmaooooo yeah, I'm good. it's odd because it's always been the norm for me, so it doesn't ever really feel weird. i think the weirdest moments are when I feel nostalgia for things I literally don't remember, which is trippy. it's usually tied to scents. I'll smell something and it makes me feel what I assume is like a child, but I have no memories to base it off of. nowadays, I mainly deal with the brain injury stuff like constant headaches that I have to be careful with. and my memory is just swiss cheese on a normal day, but it is possible to trigger full-blown amnesia again if I'm woken up before my REM cycle finishes completing itself, so that's also something I have to be mindful of every day

it's all just normal to me. it's all I've ever known, and I've been with it for well over a decade
