Although the real answer is lore related so it might not make too much sense but uhhh
Silvana and Lucero used to know each other, they were close even, but Silvana's dad [not personally her creator really, he's a rich guy running quite a few things, but the most notable one is his funding for new robot technology. Then again I don't wanna go that deep but she's an experiment for Things] doesn't want them knowing each other because they're both kinda important faces to the public [Lucero isn't quite Famous like Silvana but he's still a notable attraction] and - first of all they stand for completely different things and you don't want them mixing up, and if they put two and two together they can figure out all the shady bullshit he's doing [that I'm not going to explain bc that's my whole plot bro]
He has both their memories altered to forget each other but he never bothers with Spring because no one takes them seriously [they're a jester, right? They just say funny stuff]. They're the only one that remembers this and it distresses them because they're actively watching as both of them get worse in real time
Also [Silvana's dad who I haven't named yet] just kinda rambles to them sometimes and they can't even do anything with the stuff they know bc they're powerless. So they come up with progressively sensationalistic stuff to tell the public bc they're pr [/j]
So basically it's kind of a coping mechanism bc at this point if they said something and they're believed everyone is gonna be uber mad at them . The point is that they're the Knower and they keep secrets .!!!!

Rose envies people who find it easier to form deep connections , or just happen to have it - both friendship and family wise
Despite being very social and easy to talk to she doesn't really have many people he'd call close .. many acquaintances , casual friends , random hookups and Guys She Knows, sure, but it always kinda stops there
His problem is that he doesn't realize how avoidant and closed off he is tbh her ass is Not aware of the pattern. She genuinely thinks she's doing everything right but people don't care about him [he becomes Aware of it at some point but he's not strong enough to change it atm]

The past hasn't been kind to him + the hallucinations he has can get pretty bad , he's never quite sure if he's making it all up or if something was fucked up for real. And when he does somehow get himself to be comfortable he feels bad about being too clingy or annoying with his issues
