okay but real talk for a minute - can we discuss the way SOME (def not at all and not saying all) fics just casually normalize domestic violence and abuse as something desirable… like I can’t tell you how many fics I’ve read where the plot line is something like “he gets jealous when he sees you talking to another man 😭” and the whole time it’s just some dude getting mad she breathed in someone’s direction.

i can’t help but think about the way it frames possessive/borderline abusive men as desirable and sexy and the women always ends up apologizing at the end.
