Streets that were once filled with life are now ruins; hospitals are overwhelmed, and basic necessities are scarce. Children are terrified, families are torn apart, and nowhere feels safe. This is not a battle it is collective punishment, a humanitarian nightmare unfolding in real time, and the world cannot turn away.

per my last post about medic, i've noticed that the other mercs do not get given the same treatment on nearly as large of a scale as he does.
all the other mercenaries are allowed to be more complex and interesting beyond just being one dimensional psychopaths. heavy is not just a bloodthirsty brute, he is a highly educated family man who has been taking care of his mother and sisters since he was a boy. spy is an emotionally complex character with an intriguing and complicated relationship with his son who likely grapples with himself everyday over his decision to leave scout and his mother. even fucking soldier is allowed to be more than just a violent patriotic lunatic as we've seen with the introduction of zhanna.
so why the hell does medic always get reduced to being a one dimensional gaping void pure evil who is incapable of loving or caring for anything except himself? do you not understand that it makes his character better and more interesting if he has variations in his behaviour?
this isn't me saying he's some kind of good or morally upstanding guy who rescues kittens in his free time but i am beyond pissed and done with people insisting that he is somehow uniquely worse than the rest of his team.
Speak your truth!! I think people forget about the Experiments-Friends view that he has. ALSO his team's acceptance of him, like when he talked to Demoman about his eye (Demo was like alright fair until he wondered more about his memory)
or Sniper getting mad then just moving on after Medic explained his smile. Heavy complimented Medic at first but is then surprised by the revelation that his "Bluff" was real.
We can see how Medic still surprises them (maybe half the mercs, it's like Medic's choices and way of being catches them offguard. It's like they are thinking "He would go that far?/Would he?" and the answer is yes)
Medic appreciates his team very much as well because they appreciate him too. He answers their questions, heals them and literally owns their souls!!!
