I'm new to this Tumblr thing, but I really feel like I need a space online to share my creative outbursts and chaotic thoughts.

I've always been an Instagram girl, but nowadays it drains the *** out of me.

So I'm curious if Tumblr can provide the space I need to just be my authentic, sometimes dark, often quirky, geeky self.

Gotta get this off my chest. May rant again.

The majority of the hate/snark/gossip blogs content being so focused on Jamie’s partners and trashing them is peak misogyny. Whether or not they’ve done questionable things, the discussions always devolve into hating other women. Full stop.

You all sound like anger, rejected, bitter people who are mad he didn’t pick you. News alert: he never would, never will. You need to retire the fantasy and let go of your crush. The bitterness to women who have done nothing to you.

You’re just mean girls living out your weird fantasy of being Regina George because you couldn’t be her in real life. You take it out on women who did nothing to you out of jealousy and wishing you were in her place instead. You over exaggerate use excuses of how awful a woman is is to be mean and bitter because your life sucks.

It absolutely chafes you that you don’t get to have her life. You pick on people who can’t fight back because you’re sad and weak. You’d never act like this to someone’s face.

You try to drag Jamie down to make him “less appealing” because you can’t get over your deep feelings for him. You have to convince yourselves he’s secretly an awful person because you hate that you’re so into him.

Being disgusting about Jamie and/or his partners isn’t going to fulfill the voids in your life. It’s not going to make you cool and well-liked.

And whatever celebrity you move onto next to repeat this pattern with, it remains the same: you’re going to be miserable forever because running shitty parasocial stalker accounts will never fulfill the loneliness you feel and void inside of you.

Stop trying to make other people as miserable as you. Especially on account of a celebrity who does not need or want to be rescued or saved by you.

It’s a shame you can’t see how you look to reasonable people.

This post could lowkey be applied to any celeb with a girlfriend who gets trashed. Jamie just happens to be relevant to me.

Hopelessly romantic

I’ve been hiding it for a big part of my life, but I’m actually a hopeless romantic. I love to romanticize life and to find beauty in the smallest things. Even dark things. Beauty and joy hide in the tiniest corners of our life. It’s in every detail. But mostly it’s in our eyes. Our eyes are portals to our soul. To our emotional world. Not only music speaks when words fail, but our eyes too. To me, connection is not made with words, but it is in the way we can express ourselves and our emotions.

This world is driving me insane..

I was just scrolling on Instagram, again.. and after a while I've found a new playlist on Spotify. I started listening to it. The second song got to me. Something about this deep manly voice, I really liked. Searched for the page of the artist, liked some other stuff.. but there was something.. I couldn't really put my finger on it. Something felt off. Looked into it a little deeper only to find that all these songs were AI generated. I'm shocked to my core. I feel sick to my stomach. Not music, not the one thing that speaks the language of my soul. Tears filling up my eyes as I'm writing this. AI slowly taking over the online world is truly heartbreaking to me. Up until now I was always able to pick original work from AI, especially graphic stuff. But this shook my to my core and send a dark, cold shiver down my spine. As if the world isn't fcked enough already.

Listening to 'Prelude to a Soul' right after comforted my soul. Knowing that AI will never be able to speak to my soul like that. Because it lacks the most important thing.. emotion and human experience.

I guess I'm writing this because I don't want to be discouraged by these strange and cruel times. If anything a fire burns inside of me to create more. To share a spark of hope that there is still humanity online. And my message to you, if I may share it, is keep sharing your art. Art is pure and made in the moment and far from perfect. That's what makes it art. Let your soul speak and follow your heart, always.

Chester, we finally meet again..

There's nothing like crying alone in your bed at night with Linkin Park, especially the voice of Chester, blasting through your headphones. I haven't done this since Chester left us in 2017. My heart breaks every time I hear his voice.

Yet there's something inside of me wanting to face this pain again. Allowing to feel the heartbreak of hearing his voice. Knowing he felt every word of every lyric they ever wrote. He knew what it meant to be an outcast in this cruel and crazy system. The lyrics of Linkin Park hit like no other for me. It's like they look right into that broken part of me. The part that's easier to run from.

''I've got a heart full of pain, head full of stress, handful of anger held in my chest. Uphill struggle, blood, sweat and tears. Nothing to gain, everything to fear.''

I can imagine a lot of people relate to this right now. Thinking of everything that is happening in the world right now makes me mad AF. It's not just being angry. It's a rage firing up deep inside. Holding a lot of unprocessed emotions. It feels like I stopped processing them ever since I stopped listening to Linkin Park. Their music always helped me get through the heaviest and deepest emotions.

I really want to hold onto my own light. Because I'm a true believer that love will always win. But sometimes.. sometimes I just need to let the darkness in, to crack me open. So my light can find its way through the cracks. Because I do care when one more light goes out.

Thank you Chester for showing me the way back to my teen-ager self, to that young girl who never felt like she was good enough. I think I'm ready to hold her now.
