during the the yakuza 0 era, where kiryu leaves the yakuza and becomes a citizen, another dude, akito ((my oc) a kazama family member, who somewhat looked after both kiryu and nishikiyama when they were younger, before they even joined the kazama family. kazama introduced them to akito, since he's super close to kazama, and he he saw how much kazama cared about them, he knew he had some sort of responsibility to keep them safe or atleast keep an eye on them, then eventually akito became close to both kiryu and nishikiyama.)

so akito eventually finds out about that, and he was worried. he knew kiryu wasn't the type to kill someone, and something WAS wrong with the whole situation,

so blah blah after kiryu got brutally scolded by kashiwagi, he leaves the family office and gets a a few digits on his pager.. he recognises the number code, its from akito and he goes to a nearby phone and calls..

akito tells him its urgent and that he HAS to come!! kiryu is done with everyone's bs at this point but he goes anyway,

there, at an abondoned nearby building rooftop,

akito waits.

kiryu gets scolded by akito too and wooooaahhhh new boss fight?? kiryu vs akito??

kiryu manages to beat akito (duh) and akito says hes proud n shit🥹🥹 he tells him that he can't stand the thought that hes not in the family anymore.. and that he'll do anything to help kiryu figure this situation out.
