“I spent last night watching The Academy Awards, ready to see Moonlight and La La Land winning as many Oscars as possible and honestly I feel so sorry for Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway because clearly it wasn’t their fault since the envelopes got mixed up. It was awful to watch the whole La La Land cast getting on stage ready to accept the Oscar for Best Picture and then see them get told it was a mistake and the Oscar belongs to Moonlight. They both would have deserved it.”

“Dear god, it was awful! I felt so bad for them, I was cringing so much. At least Moonlight was given the award though, right? I think the La La Land cast took it pretty well.”

“You truly are an angel in disguise” he teased and smirked. Looking at her, he shrugged. “You should have just said; Because I’m hot as fuck. But fair enough” he said.

“Ya think?” Savanna grinned. “Wouldn’t you think of me as vain then, though?” She asked. “But hey; you really think I’m hot as fuck?”

“Damn it, you got me” Joey teased with a chuckle, ordering them both a vodka and coke. “Well, I’ll warn you. Your favourite guy in the world may have had one too many drinks.”

“Knew it. It was so obvious.” Savanna laughed, nodding to him as a thank you when he ordered the drinks. “I mean, if we get wasted, we get wasted,” She said. “It could be fun. We’ll just have to deal with it tomorrow.”
