I’m proceeding with legal action to prove abuse and neglect, so that legal guardianship can be granted to other family members. Because these proceedings may take months, I’m also filing an emergency ex parte order to gain temporary custody while the case ensues. I’m raising funds to rent an apartment in the city where my niece lives, so I can provide her with safe housing and keep her daily life as stable as possible during the proceedings.

I’m at a loss as to how to get this post more notes or how to get it to go viral or whatever. I just guess I need to really really really stress that my niece is in immediate danger. I didn’t want to put explicit details in this post but she’s being beaten with hangers to the point where she has welts, she’s fallen while unattended and ended up with a head laceration, her mother regularly tells her that she ruined her life by existing, she had an outbreak of ringworm on her scalp that caused her hair to fall out….she reported to her daycare and her school and they didn’t do anything… I reported to CPS and they didn’t help. We just need help saving her, please. I just don’t know how else to stress that a little black girl is enduring severe trauma and violence and that her life is at risk. we’re trying to help but it’s expensive. I’m not even asking for help with the $10,000+ legal fees that my family is hussling to handle, we just need help getting housing so she can be placed with us. Please share.
