Forseeing (Kili × Reader)
The company stood at the edge of Mirkwood, closer to Erebor more then ever. All of us were excited to get this mission done. It's been a hard journey honestly. The road was dangerous and exceptionally long. Thus travelling with thirteen dwarves, one hobbit and a wizard was more than chaotic. Sure eveb though there was a lot of arguments, at the end of the day we all would find a way.
Over time the company has became my found family. I have been longing for something like this my whole life and I was glad to finally be a part of this company. Everyone respected eachother. If I were to have bad days there would always be someone to cheer me up. And i bet even Thorin tries to make sure I am okay sometimes. He is like the grumpy uncle I have never had.
Fili and Bilbo were my best friends and most of the dwarves treated me like I am their little sister.
There was also... Kili. I was crushing on him since day one. Fili had very sharp eyes and soon enough he noticed how I couldn't bring a couple of words together and talk in front of him. Then one day he told me that he knew. Fili usually teases me about this a lot but it's only because he wants us together. I wonder if the others are aware of this too, ooff hopefully not.
I was walking in between Fili and Kili. We would usually walk in this pattern because they didn't really trust in my battle skills. They didn't care even though I could very well fight with not only swords but bows and arrows too.
As we got deeper into the woods it got darker. I couldn't tell if it was day or night. The leaves and the sharp branches of overgrown trees were leaving scratches on my body. One of them cut my arm deeply making me flinch.
"Oh, y/n! Stop.", said Fili stepping closer. Kili turned towards us upon hearing his brother and when he saw me clutching my arm with blood dripping he immediately rushed to my side too.
"Y/N! You're bleeding.", he took my arm in his hands to examine the wound. "It was the branches, brother. We should dress the cut so it doesn't get infected in a forest filled with darkness." said Fili.
"Guys it's okay. Really. Just a small cut. You can leave it." , looking at Kili, playing it cool though it really hurt. Whenever I would get Kili's attention i would try not to scream out loud. I love him way too much...
Kili got mad at what I said and rejected, holding my arm tighter now, " A small cut?! Your arm is bleeding like a waterfall!"
" I got this Kili, plus we should get going and catch up with the others. We must hurry." , I try to push past the concerned brothers and walk but they stop me.
"Oh, Aulë! Just shut up so I can fix your arm y/n." Kili raising his voice at me. If I am not mistaking his voice was a bit shaky. "Y/n, Kili is right. We should treat it. Now sit."
And I was sat on the ground. Fili cleaned the wound and Kili dressed it.
When we caught up with others they seemed a bit off. As if they were tipsy on alcohol. They were bickering and yelling. The air was heavy and it has started to affect us too. I don't remember much but I am sure that we have lost the path because why would I see the same weird shaped bushes that looked like creepy creatures you would see in your dreams, again and again? At this point it felt like the company was getting smaller and smaller each time I blinked.
Kili held my arm clumsily "I don't know what this is y/n but stay close."
As I was about to say okay I heard a noise on my right side. It was coming from over the hill. It was a woman's cry. Such a sad and gut wrenching cry. I had to go there. I had to go help. So I freed myself from Kili's grip and made my way through the fallen logs covered in moss.
I couldn't register if I was walking or running. But I was there in to time and Kili wasn't behind me. Under one of the logs I see a woman hiding behind the overgrown veins. She looked young almost my age. Her black long hair was covering most of her pale face. She was softly sobbing now.
"Hey, are you okay? I won't harm you I promise." I slowly reach for her arm. She shook her head side to side.
"I have a company. We can take good care of you. Come on you can trust me."
The second I touched her she turned to face me so fast that I got scared. I felt my heartbeats on my whole body. As she gripped my shoulder with such force that i was sure that she could crush my bones if she wanted. Her eyes were all black with hints of light in them. Like the nightsky filled with starts. And with that she took in a deep breath and let out a deafening shriek, so loud that I feared my ears were going to pop. I felt it deep in my bones and it hurt as if I was dying. My breathing was shallow and fast. As I was trying push her away and run I lost my eyesight and started to see visions.
Those vision were nightmare fuel. I saw Fili, Kili and Thorin all dead. My family laying on the ground with thick pools of blood around them. That couldn't be real. But it felt so...
Seeing the love of my life with lifeless eyes and pale skin... It made my blood boil. And then I saw who killed them. Azog and Bolg.
I will have my revenge. Even if it means the end for me....
All I saw was darkness now.

After I freed myself from the cocoon the spiders made. I looked for y/n. The last time I saw her she was running towards the ponds. Frantically looking around the cocoons by dodging the attacking spiders I couldn't see her.
I asked everyone if anyone has seen her but they were too busy not to be killed by spiders as big as horses.
"Y/N! WHERE ARE YOU?!" My heart dropped to my stomach and made me nauseous. Killing of spiders I kept looking. Leaving the company and the spiders behind.
I found the spot where we got separated and ran towards the direction I saw her take off to.
In the distance I saw her. She was on her knees, sitting. Her body was shaking with with sobs and her breath was dangerously fast. Her head was slightly tilted upward and her eyes looked all black as if something possessed her.
I couldn't be seeing her like this...
"Y/n. Hey, hey look at me!" I cupped her cheeks and dried them with my sleeves. Gently pulled her hair behind her ears. I noticed she wasn't responding so I grabbed her shoulders tightly and shook her.
"Y/n it's me. PLEASE, WAKE UP!" With that I saw her eyes turn normal. She was looking at me now. Confused and definitely scared to move.
"Yes. Yes it's me amrâlimê. I'm here. You're safe. Take a deep breath now."
"Wha-? Okay." She said with the weakest voice.
" Take a breath with me now, do it.... Now out..."
I held her while trying to get her to breath at a normal pace. Luckily, It seemed to be working. Then i pulled her into a warm embrace. She was in distress but having her melt in my arms made me want to give the worlds to her. I pet her hair, the thought of braiding her hair crossed my mind right there. But I couldn't do such thing without asking her consent first.
It has been a couple of days since the incident. Short after Kili had found me the elven guards of King Thranduil captured us and held us in the dungeons. Later we escaped thanks to bilbo.
I must have scared poor Kili that he kept asking if I was okay and what that was about constantly. Sadly he couldn't get any answers as I didn't have the heart to tell.
The thing that was stressing me was Kili. He got shot by a poisonous arrow earlier in the morning and now there was a she-elf called Tauriel helping him. I managed to convince her to heal him after an attack of orcs. But I couldn't stay there. My eyes were on the blonde elven prince that was going after the son of Azog. I had to go with the elf and help him kill Bolg. I swiftly left Bard's house and followed the prince and I killing orcs on the way. He wasn't expecting me to help him but I was sure he was glad.
After we killed the small orcs around us we headed towards Bolg. Once we saw him I charged first with anger and revenge for the things that didn't happen yet. I blew repeated strikes but he dodged them all and hit the side of my head, being twice my size the impact was too powerful that I couldn't differentiate if i had passed out or not. I couldn't see anything and it was freezing. Then i realised that was just the sudden shock the lake water gave me. I must have fallen in... This couldn't stop me, I had to kill him so climbed back to the sideway, trying my best to be as silent as I could so Bolg would think I was dead.
It looked like the elf was in trouble too. It was now his turn to fight with Bolg, though the filthy spawn of Azog was on his neck, choking him.
My vision was a bit blurry and I couldn't exactly think straight either. Then my eyes locked on the bow and arrow on the wooden walkways of Lake-town. I staggered to my feet and grabbed the bow. I pulled on the string as hard as I could aiming for the Orc. Shot him in the head. It went still and dropped dead.
A relief washed over me and i fell to my knees with a big sigh. Seeing this the prince rushed over and made sure I was okay.
That was when I gained a lifelong friend. Also the last time I saw Kili until the battle of the five armies. I had to leave him behind and find Azog. After saving his life, Legolas wanted to help me. I didn't say no because I needed help. For days we searched for Azog, and we actually found him in the war.
He was leading the armies. On top of the frozen waterfall. It coast Legolas and I, couple of injuries grat and small, here and there but we managed to kill him too. The line of Durin was to be continued.
Afterwards I said goodbye to my friend Legolas, promised eachother to meet again and went onto finding Kili. I knew he was close.
The battlefield was a bit too big, i didn't know where to start so I sat at the edge of the cliff looking down hoping to see him somewhere there. The scene in front of me was blood chilling and it was snowing. The wind was flowing through my hair soaked up in dried blood and sweat. I listened to how quiet it was. A sorrowful silence. So many people were dead down there. Kili wasn't one of them, was he? Changing the future must have meant that he was alive. It had to be. Or was he destined to die anyways and the only thing that changed was how that happened. Thorin and Fili too. Oh, how stupid I was to think that a mortal human could change the timelin--
I turned around and it really was my Kili. Standing there exhausted from the battle.
"KILI!" I I jumped up and limped toward him, throwing myself into his arms. "Oh, Kili! You're alive. I thought you were dead."
"Sshh, I'm okay, amrâlimê. We are finally together, that's what matters." He said with a soothing yet shaking voice. "Why did you take of like that anyways. Leaving me? I was worried sick that I would never see you.", he was crying now while checking my body for any fatal injuries. Not daring to look at my eyes.
" I'm so sorry, Kili. I had to go. I had to kill Azog and Bolg so I could save you, your brother and uncle. That day you found me in the forest I saw the most horrible visions. Visions of you deaths! I had to kill... I had to save you. I-" I couldn't finished the sentence as I broke down crying just like Kili.
" Why would you do all those things because of some stupid visions. You stupid woman! You're recklessness will age me faster than anything. You could have gotten yourself KILLED! I can't lose you again, y/n.", Kili whined, pulling me into another hug, his hand on my hair.
" I love you, Y/n. I wish to live with you till my days are over. I can't imagine a life without you. Please let me braid your hair.", his choice was soft now.
"I love you too, Kili. Since the day we met." I watched his face light up with happiness. Then I felt his lips on mine. The kiss was heavenly.
That day I let him braid a chunk of my hair. This small step led to a wonderful relationship for the years to come.
