Made a 3D model of the my magical girl OCs' transformation item.
A rock golem character I designed back in March as a commission for a client's TTRPG campaign. I didn't post it here in case a player from said campaign decided to check out my blog at the worst possible time, but I've been told this character has since shown up so it's free real estate, baby!
Fun fact: The proportions are vaguely based on a cortical homunculus (because reasons), hence the enlarged hands and lips. I didn't want it to look too human, though, so I merged the mouth and nose into a beak-like structure and replaced the ears with stalacsides [patent pending]. Either way the inspiration isn't that blatant in the final design so all this aside amounts to in the end is a scheme to trick you into making a cursed Google search.
A character I designed for an art game, following the prompts "gold," "roses" and "scarf". I tried going for the vibe of mysterious love interest (who is secretly evil but has a change of heart near the end).
Coincidentally, I finished the artwork on March 14th, which is White Day in several countries (day where you reciprocate gifts you received on Valentine's). Anyway, here's some Valentine's edits I did on a slightly older version of the art that I don't have the patience to fix.
Once again managed to participated in another art telephone game. Thought it'd be fun to go for an isometric perspective, but then the characters looked too small so I added the videogame style dialogue portraits. Wish I'd had more time to work on the background, ended up having to rush the lighting especially.
The text is written in the Standard Galactic Alphabet from Commander Keen (which you may also know from Minecraft's enchanting table) because I figured actual legible text would've taken away form the mystique of the piece. I did write dialogue, but it's not too important. Feel free to translate if you've got time to kill.
Currently reworking a set of characters from a campaign that never took off into a standalone story idea. Design not 100% final, but here is the main character(s).
The original lore was that she was one person who got split in three by a misuse of her own power. While that works for a side character, for a group of protagonists that's just three people with the exact same backstroy and I don't like it. So this time around I'm envisioning them as a trio of magical girls who, through a strange set of circunstances, all got bound to the same Marketable Transformation Trinket™ and thus can only transform one at a time. That is, unless they but their differences aside and work together as the fearsome tricolor hero, Black Gamut. Pff, like that's ever gonna happen!
If it weren't apparent, her/their whole theme is the CMY color model and how paints mix together. And also that fusions are cool af. I'll talk more about her components (aka the actual main characters) eventually©, once I'm finished with their redesigns.
Wanted to do some fanart for @floofrights's excellent webcomic Chilli the Vampire Oppossum and there was only one route I could take, to be honest.
Gift exchange for @haru-no-hikaru of their keykid Rhune.
Absolutely had to take a shot at replicating Tetsuya Nomura's art style.
Also did an obligatory UI edit.
A discord server I'm in regularly hosts art telephone games (artist A makes a drawing and shows it to B, who then makes a drawing and shows it to C, who then etc) and I finally got a chance to take part in one.
Went with the spookier side with my entry. I like to imagine this as spunky the protagonist of some action/horror cartoon about kids fight monsters after school, and the villain of the week is a haunted TV that eats people to add to its broadcast.
Branch Conflict
Alright, @kittykichi, took a wee bit longer than expected, but I have finally finished my ARTFIGHT REVENGE for the attack you submitted... uh, a whole year ago? Well, you know what they say — better late than never.
Credit to @the-regressor for the base model I used to get this done on time.
Artfight attack for @honkula. I'd been doing some 3D modelling work right around when Artfight started, so when I saw this character and how geometric they were I thought "yeah, I could model that".
[Part 1] [Part 2]
About 3 months later and I finally managed to finish the second part of my Destiny Trio fusion designs. A combination of life stuff getting in the way and having to restarting several times until I got a pose I was happy with. It do be like that sometimes.
As mountains are where the land and the sky touch I have thus nicknamed this fusion Yama. You may have noticed he’s got a bit of an odd expression on his face. There’s a reason for that… after the cut.

[Part 1] [Part 2]
I like drawing character fusions, but I haven’t gotten a chance to do it often. So as a bit of shameless self-ingulgence I decided to try my hand at that hexafusion meme that was somewhat popular some years ago, this time using the Destiny Islands trio from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. I chose their original KH1 desgins in particular because I personally prefer them over most of their other looks (with the exception of Riku. His DDD look is perfect).
The rest are currently a WIP, so for the time being allow me to introduce you to the fusion of Sora and Kairi, which I have nicknamed: Suihei (sky + ocean = horizon).
Some notes after the cut.

Ride or Dye!
POV: you and your buds just discovered your magical girl powers come with seasonal variants (did that just bite you!?).
Last two attacks for Artfight 2025, aimed at @/ChaoticKitty123 and @onyxplored respectively.
