Wedding binder overhaul!
Ok, I admit, it wasn't much of an overhaul. More like a sidehaul....
Anyway, here's what I did.
I already had my big Timeline in it, but it needs to be redone.
And other than some blank dividers (now, almost all of them are assigned... I need some more!) that was all that was in there.
I went through my old binder, and pulled out a bunch of clippings that were still relevant. A lot of my magazine clippings were for inspiration, and I've done a lot of decision-making since then. I used washi tape to stick the clippings onto some lined paper, organized by category.
I do have some new elements, like the garland log I made, for recording my progress on making the paint chip garland.
And I made a very specific timeline for our Jack & Jill, which I'm keeping separate from my main Timeline for now. I have to make a brand new timeline, because the format I was using doesn't really work for me anymore with my new wedding planner and my plans for this binder.
I have much more in store for this binder in the coming days... I have a week off so I plan to do:
wedding party contact info sheet
log-in info for all our wedding apps and sites
summaries of my progress on different elements through my email threads with Paul and my MOH
and anything else that makes sense. We don't have our printer set up at the new apartment yet, which is a bit of a bummer, but I'd rather get the information down now and re-vamp it later when I have the resources.
That's it for today! Hopefully I will be able to include pictures in upcoming posts as well, I think that they really helped illustrate my point. Till next time!
