Template: Domesticated.
This template can be added to any creature with the Animal type.
Abilities: +2 to Charisma. Domesticated animals are more social than their wild kin.
Diminished Weaponry: A domesticated animal's natural weapons deal damage as if they were one size category smaller.
Easy To Train: Handle Animal checks made to train or influence domesticated animals gain a +4 bonus. Trained domesticated animals gain one bonus trick.
Special Purpose: Some domesticated animals are bred for a specific type of work. Select one. Skill bonuses stack with bonuses that apply to all animals of their species. Companion: The animal gains an additional +2 to Charisma and 1/day can grant a +2 morale bonus to all saving throws or skill checks for one minute. Assistant: The animal gains additional skill points equal to their intelligence score x their hit dice, and gains a +4 bonus on rolls made to aid another. Guide: The animal gains a +4 bonus on Perception checks and can make Perception checks to aid another. Bodyguard: The animal gains a +2 bonus to initiative and gains Bodyguard and In Harm's Way as bonus feats. Security: The animal gains a +4 bonus to initiative and Perception. Fighter: The animal loses the Diminished Weaponry special quality and gains +2 to initiative. Tracker: The animal gains ranks in Survival equal to their hit dice and a +4 bonus to Survival checks to track by scent. Herder: The animal gains ranks in Handle Animal equal to their hit dice and a +4 bonus to Handle Animal checks against livestock and other domestic animals. Draft: The animal's strength counts as 4 points higher for determining carrying capacity, and they gain Endurance as a bonus feat. Racer: The animal's base speed increases by 10 feet and they gain the Run feet.
