With 5 facebook likes, it's pretty safe to say the Connect 316 anti-Calvinist fellowship rollout at SBCToday.com was a tremendous flop. The dear moderator over there, Emir Caner's communication tzar, Norm Miller, is usually on twitter boasting about SBC Today's viral anti-Calvinist posts. Not today.

No, Southern Baptists are tired of the anti-Calvinism wars. Southern Baptists are tired of SBC Today. They are tired of bizarre comments like Ron Hale's. It's no wonder Al Mohler, Mark Dever, and David Platt have such a following in the SBC when one looks at the alternatives. Intellectual, serious theology, or bizarre inconsistent semi-pelagianism. Southern Baptists have decided.

Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee President Dr. Frank Page has led a valiant and noble effort in bringing peace to the Southern Baptist Convention. It is a shame that some rabid anti-Calvinists have spoken negatively of Page's "Calvinism Committee" calling it a charade. What can I say? Other than, thank you Dr. Page for your leadership on this project.
