BYShow: Seishun Idol Tour Special Episode #2
NOTE: there are a lot of details to take into consideration for this prompt so please read carefully in order to stay coherent. I’ll write some precisions at the very end so please read that too. Also, there are TWO versions to this prompt: the version B is only meant for Masaaki.
VERSION A: Sunday, January 17, around 7AM at their hotel in Nagoya
The boys knew they were going to film something for the BYShow that day. The official time marked on their schedule was 9AM, so they were still sleeping soundly, unaware of what was in store for them. They had traveled to Nagoya later at night, after the performance in Osaka. Some of the boys had probably slept really late despite the curfew imposed by the managers. Curfew or not, being in a new city as well as on tour was exciting, especially for the youngest members who got to spend time away from home. But now, in the early morning, everyone was deeply asleep, resting after a stressful day.
The crew arrived a bit earlier and set everything up outside of Takumi and the manager’s hotel room, the young boy still sleeping comfortably. The two MCs were there, as well as both managers, preparing for the big moment. When everyone was ready, they opened the door quietly and stepped inside, making as little sound as they could. One of the MCs turned to the camera that followed them, trying to hold in his laugh. “As you can see, Takumi-san is still sleeping deeply after yesterday’s performance… I almost feel bad to wake him up. Look at this peaceful expression…” The camera zoomed in on Takumi’s face. “Ready?” whispered the MCs to one another before nodding.
They both showed to the camera what they were holding: little water spray bottles, which left no doubt as to what was about to happen. “3… 2… 1…”
And they sprayed. More than a few times. “Wake up, Takumi-san!”
After Takumi’s initial reaction, they gave him a few seconds to understand what was happening before shoving the microphone in front of him. “How does it feel to be woken up like this? Refreshing, right?” Everyone in the room laughed, awaiting his reply. “Did you get a good sleep after yesterday’s performance?” Takumi had no idea what to say, as usual. He just stared at them, face all red with a confused expression on his face. After a moment, the MCs prompted him to get up. “You can follow us while we wake up the other boys, Takumi-san. How do you like that idea?” Takumi smiled, apparently excited about surprising his older teammates. As the youngest of the group, he was often teased. It was his turn to see their shocked faces!
VERSION B: Monday, January 18, 5:30AM at Masaaki’s home
Masaaki had only been told this: the crew from the BYShow would be coming to his home in the morning to film something for the Seishun Idol Tour Special Episode. Unfortunately, because of the National Center Test for University Admissions being held that very weekend, there were two members of the group that had not been able to attend the Osaka and Nagoya performances. Still, the producers wanted the viewers to see their shocked and surprised faces just as much as the other boys, so they arranged something, pretending that this would be “some sort of interview”.
With his family’s permission, the crew arrived earlier than expected and set everything up outside of Masaaki’s bedroom, who was still sleeping comfortably. The two MCs were there, preparing for the big moment. At 5:30 precisely, they opened the door quietly and stepped inside, making as little sound as they could. One of the MCs turned to the camera that followed them, trying to hold in his laugh. “As you can see, Masaaki-san is still sleeping deeply after all the stress from this weekend… I almost feel bad to wake him up. Look at this peaceful expression…” The camera zoomed in on Masaaki’s face. “Ready?” whispered the MCs to one another before nodding.

After spending several minutes with him, they let him get prepared for his day and left, just like that.
