rogermonty.
adrenaline pumping, roger managed to stop himself outside of a little shop on lombard street. it was the perfect place for him to get exercise in. he looked down at his rollerblades and smiled. some might say he was out of touch with what was hip, but it didn’t matter. he could be using a razor scooter and that would be far worse than a beautiful pair of rollerblades. tilting his head back, he allowed the sunshine to his face. getting his new assignment felt like a godsend once he spent a few days in san francisco. “can you imagine living somewhere better? fog and sunshine in the same day. rolling hills perfect for exercise. amazing food. chocolate!” his voice reflected his awe as he turned to the person near him. “we truly are living in an amazing time.”
when it came to the british people living in san francisco, it was a SMALL world indeed. so of course susannah knew roger, though not extremely well, the two had met during one of susannah’s typical excursions to chinatown. she had a weak spot for chinese food, and also enjoyed attempting to recreate new recipes, so it had been in one of the small produce and packaged foods shops that she had run into the man. “roger!” susannah gave a sound of surprise and LAUGHED upon seeing roger appear with a pair of rollerblades strapped to his feet as she had been walking along. “someone is in a very good mood. is there any particular reason for that?”
