The last push back to wrap up a great weekend of riding at the #MikeNeelTrainingCamp #StateOfJefferson
No man (or woman) was an island unto themselves today on Island Rd. #MikeNeelTrainingCamp #StateOfJefferson

Powerlines. Power. Lines. #MikeNeelTrainingCamp #StateOfJefferson
The Scott Valley has their own type of crop circles. Great view of Mt Shasta on Scott River Rd. #MikeNeelTrainingCamp #StateOfJefferson
Last day of the #MikeNeelTrainingCamp is a 40 mile spin through the Scott and Quartz valleys. #StateOfJefferson
Riding to the top of Etna Mtn is an accomplishment in itself. For it to be the last climb in a 100 mile day is impressive.
Last corner before the top.
I believe AC/DC said it best about the climb up the backside to Etna summit. It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll.
Siskiyou Co has all of these very accurate mileage markers on their roads. Depending on how you're feeling, knowing how far from the top you are can be a good or bad thing.
Sarah separating herself on her way to claim the QOM from her group to the top of Etna Mtn.
If a person was inclined to stop just before the summit of the last climb up to Etna Mtn they would have seen the effects of the fire from two years ago.
When the temps are 90 plus degrees and the river is so close, it tempting to jump in and cool off. I can neither confirm nor deny if any riders took advantage of the relief.
The first climb had a nice layer of cloud cover, keeping the temps comfortable and the smiles bright.
Bill might have slowed to smell the flowers, but he didn't stop.
Salmon River Loop rolls 13 miles before he first climb on Hwy 3. 7 cars passed the group. That's called a Siskiyou County traffic jam.
